Amazing wildlife and once in a lifetime experience
Tanzania stole our hearts, from the people, the scenic beauty and the abundance of wildlife and adventure on safari. Going early December meant we were met with some rain and muddy drives, but the parks were so quiet, some days we barely saw another safari vehicle, the lodges weren't at capacity but the animals were all out waiting to see spotted, admired and enjoyed.
We were lucky enough to see babies of almost all the animals, we got the big 5 and way more than that. The best thing we picked was going with Lion King Adventures and this was made so much easier by using safari bookings to get the ball rolling.
You will fall in love with Africa and be planning your return trip before you leave. If you are unsure where to start or what the one place to visit should be, choose Tanzania and you will not be disappointed.

A country where you feel welcome and secure with very nice people, great food and beautiful nature
Tanzania allows one of the most incredible hikes that I have ever tried - the Kilimanjaro! For those who enjoy mountains with beautiful scenery and as much confort as the location allows, it is fabulous. The local teams make all their best efforts to give you the best they have and can do! And, of course, the summit "adventure" is all about exceeding your limits and fighting against your mind's traps - simply unforgetable!
The same country allows a great opportunity to see wild animals free at their habitat - however keep in mind that you won't be alone and the safari parks are very crowded with toooo many cars...

Amazing Wildlife experience
I absolutely loved my trip to Tanzania and would highly recommend Safari Bookings as well. Our guide was fantastic and really catered to our interest and desires, our lodging was great and seeing the wildlife was unbelievable.

Fulfilled one of my wildlife viewing dreams.
This was an outstanding trip from being picked up to drop off. My guide was amazing and did everything he could to
Make my experience the best. Accommodation and meals were great. I’m vegetarian and I was never short of food to eat. The different safaris I did all had something different to offer. The Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crater did not disappoint and delivered everything I expected. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Like visiting another planet
A truly incredible place with amazing people and culture. We spent nearly 3 weeks traveling around Central and South Serengeti in Tanzania. The scenery was as amazing as the wildlife. The African continent is amazing. If I could only see one place...I would visit Ngorongoro Crater. Truly spectacular views from above and amazing wildlife on the crater floor.
We safaried almost daily to different destinations...trying to see as much as possible. Going back...we would plan to stay 2-3 nights in each location. Go on daily game drives. Then, back to the lodge to relax and enjoy. The lodges and their locations were so spectacular, we missed out on really getting to enjoy them. Take the time.

Amazing
I went on the Kenya & Tanzania Safari with OAT Travel. Our tour leader was Jartan, and he made the trip extra special. The trip was like being in a National Geographic film. We saw the big 5 and then some, close up. Jartan and our driver, Kelvin, knew where the animals were and got us up close and personal. I never dreamed I could be close enough to a lion or an elephant that I could touch them. What an experience. We saw prides of lions and lion kills. Jartan's favorite animal is the hyena. He almost had us convinced they are cute. He is that good. I was a little hesitant about sleeping in tents but discovered it was like "glamping". We always had a bathroom and shower. The amazing this about the tent was we could hear the animals at night. Since our group was small, we could go into little villages and homes. Always felt safe with Jartan and Kelvin as our guides and guards. Everything about this trip was 100% wonderful. I think all future trips will pale by comparison. Would I do it again....in a heartbeat. This truly was a trip of a lifetime, and I thank Jartan for leading me. He is the best.

It just doesn't get any better than that
Best holiday I have ever been on!! From the flight transfers, to communication with staff, to our driver Erick (who is an absolute legend) and then to all the camps, staff at those camps and everything in between, it was by far the best experience. The Serengeti is incredible, the Ngorongoro crater, spectacular. I would recommend to anyone!
