First let me say that Suricata Safaris was fantastic to work with. I especially loved there guides while climbing Kilimanjaro and going on safari for seven days. I am a professional photographer and they were more than willing to work with me on getting the perfect shot. I can not say enough about them. I have visited many beautiful places and climbed a lot of mountains. Tanzania and Kilimanjaro have there own unique and beautiful vibe. Very similar to the wonderful people that live there. The wildlife is second to none in my opinion. Elephants, lions, hippos, leaopards, cheetahs, antelope, it was all there and in massive numbers. Visiting Tanzania is something every adventurer needs to do. If you are reading this wondering if you should go then do it. You will not regret it.

wonderful first safari with a great ranger

I believe that everything was just great. This was our first safari and it was as enjoyable for kids than for us. We had the chance to meet the big 5 and the ugly 5 too!
Rachid, our ranger was very nice and professional and he took great care of us. the accomodations we have chosen were good too.
People were very kind and friendly.
Weather was good even though it was cloudy in morning the dyas were sunny.
wildlife and animals were stunning. We could see the wildbeest migration and crossing Mara river : top! even if few have been killed by crocodiles :(
I was a bit disappointed by N'gorongoro crater : I was expecting more of it and thought it would be the best place. To us it was too crowded (40 or 50 cars around a rhino!!!). That's the only bad comment i could give.
For the rest, it was just great.

When you want to mark something off your bucket or wish list you do your research. I research and requested itineraries (and quotes) from 10 different tour companies. I knew what we wanted and that was a safari to go down as our best family vacation ever and a few nights on a beach just for fun and relaxation. World Air Travel and Tours delivered this and SO much more. They also provided a “tip sheet” that helped us make sure we were appropriately packed with everything we may need and made the VISA (immigration) process so smooth. Their communication and detailed itinerary matched every aspect of our safari and Zanzibar beach fun! Our guide, John, went out of his way to make sure we had a memorable experience. John answered all our questions, pulled out books to show us more about what we were seeing, entertained our 12 year old who asked more questions than 4 children combined, and never pressured us and gave us time to enjoy his beautiful country (Tanzania). We visited Tarangire National Park, L. Manyara N. Park, Serengeti (2 nights camping too on the Serengeti), and Ngorongoro (crater). We spent 2 nights on the Serengeti and woke to sounds of the animals and saw different ones also right from our tent! The links World Air Travel and Tours provided to us matched the places we were going and staying at. Everything was up to date and current. The food was diverse and so good also. Our kids loved the food and for the 12 days we were there never once asked for their technology! At the end of our safari World Air Travel and Tours also coordinated our beach family time in Zanzibar. They arrange a driver, room, air travel, and provided everything we needed to relax and enjoy the beach! I would recommend this company to ANYONE who wants a memorable experience. The memories that they helped us achieve will stay with us forever!

We are a family with two adult children and found the tour company - AAA Express Adventure - on the internet. Such choices are generally risky, but were very satisfied with our safari tour. Booking the trip went fast and smoothly. The company provided exactly what they promised. We had a skilled and competent tour guide, Salvatori. The accommodations were nice. All in all, we are impressed by the scenic beauty of Tanzania and the wildlife there.

July is the perfect time to visit Tanzania if you are interested in the migration. I would highly recommend the tented camps in the Serengeti as the experience allows us the most time to travel with the migration. Outstanding.

My Tanzania trip was magical. I stayed at Selous Ngalawa Camp and was really impressed with the cabins, the views, and the amazing food. Roman was our guide and he did a fantastic job making sure we saw all of the animals we wanted, as well as getting us great angles for photos. I was surprised at how many animals we were able to see close up at the Selous reserve and loved riding around in the jeep looking at the gorgeous natural scenery there. In July, the weather was warm, not hot, dry and very pleasant. I'd read about the nuisance of mosquitoes and tse tse flies, but those weren't an issue at all. I was thoroughly satisfied with my safari through the Ngalawa camp and recommend it to everyone.

Our group of four adults loved Tanzania. Tanzania has always been a bucket list destination for us and it did not disappoint. On our Selous safari we saw a variety of wildlife including giraffes, lions, wildebeests, a lion, a water buffalo, hippos, and a variety of beautiful birds. In addition, the scenic beauty of the county is hands down amazing and the people are welcoming with a smile. We definitely plan to visit Tanzania again.

The organization and the trip to Selous was perfect.

We booked a safari trip to Selous for two nights/three days with Gecko Adventures. All the process was perfect, from the given information, budget, changes, requests and specially the attention given by Rama. The final price for the safari was competitive. Our trip was from Zanzibar by plane, and our lodge was the Selous River Camp. The accomodattion in a triple Mudhut was great, just in front of the river. All the staff in the lodge were nice. The guide of all safaris was very professional. The weather in july was perfect. No rain and a nice temperature.

My wife and I spent 8 days in Tanzania, our trip was amazing thanks to Afrishare safari that organised our vacation, we landed at Kilimanjaro airport where we met Ibrahim from Afrishare; he was very kind to come pick us up from the airport, despite his busy schedule, we drove to Arusha city to stay at Mount Meru Hotel; a place with scenic views, good dining area and good service. our stay there was only for one night; but we highly recommend it, we also got to take a tour around Arusha before sunset on a motorcycle, it was a good experience.
On our second day we met with our Safari driver and we started our trip heading to Tarangire National Park for an all day game drive, one of Tanzania's natural reserves, northerly located, we were lucky we got to see plenty of Animals; cheetahs, Impalas, Ghazals, Giraffes, many Elephants as well.

We stayed at Nimali Tented Camp; a luxurious lodge located on the boundaries of Tarangire park; we were amazed by the elephants located in front of the camp which made sunset look even more wonderful. the place is very warm and cozy, we felt as if we were in our own home, in the evening we gathered around the bonfire and enjoyed a very romantic dinner under the stars.
We arrived to Ngorongoro Crater on our third day; the most beautiful park of all. The crater is full of animals, we got to see the big five there, it was crowded with visitors since it was the high season, however Ngorongoro is most definitely a must. We got to see a rhino there
Our stay was at Ngorongoro sopa lodge; it's our favourite place of all places we stayed in, with amazing views and delicious food, however; it's much colder than the rest of the places hence its on the edge of the crater's rim.
Then we spent 4 days at Serengeti national park, with almost 15 thousand kilometers of endless savannah plains; We were lucky enough to witness the great migration where wildebeests, zebras and many ghazals crossed Grumeti River, and we did an air balloon ride and watched the sun rising over Serengeti, we watched animals from the air. The driver was very cooperative and took us to all the places we asked for . We saw a few leopards and lions feasting
We stayed at two different tented camps; Asanja Under The Stars; we watched the sunset from a perfect point of view and watch the dazzling night sky full of stars, the tent we stayed in is called warrior tent, very nicely decorated, with a comfy bed, with toilet and shower inside the tent as well, food there was great. the drive to the Tent is a little long when driving from central serengeti. On the way we saw a Rhino and an elephant was getting a bath in the same submerged road we had to cross. it was intense. overall we do recommend staying there.
the second place was katikati tented camp in the north of Serengeti near the Maru river. the drive was long from central Serengeti but Hajj our Driver did a good job finding the place. The lodge was much simpler less luxurious, but friendly and cozy. Tenants dine with the driver and chat with him over a warm, delicious meal. on the way to the camp we say groups of tens of thousands of wildebeests migrating. We also saw some crocs in the river

We ended our trip by flying through Kogatende airstrip in Serengeti, where I sat next to the pilot in a small five seater cessna plane.

We'd like to thank Afrishare, Ibrahim and Haj our driver for this amazing trip. they were amazing through planning up until we flew out to Zanzibar, and made sure that we were happy and comfortable.

We went for safari for three days. The trip was very well organised by Wildness Safari and we were particularly grateful to our driver (Mike) who was both knowledgeable and tried his very best to accommodate all our requests. The journey to Sealous was long (7 hours) but interesting as we were familiarising ourselves with very different scenery). The accommodation, at Sealous Jimbiza Camp, was excellent: very comfortable and the food was very good. The team there was very friendly! This is definitely an experience we would recommend to our friends, the only thing we would do differently is allow more time on the return leg (stay another day in Dar-es-Salaam rather than try to catch a flight to Zanzibar).
