My journey lasted almost two weeks, including Zanzibar, safari in several National parks in mainland and trekking in Usambara. To organize the trip, I turned to several companies and guides, all of them left the best impressions, which I've already shared in special reviews. This journey was one of my most memorable. Among all those who helped me in organizing it, I express my gratitude to the site safaribookings.com, which was very useful in establishing contacts and negotiating.

My husband and I joined two of our close friends in Tanzania for a 10 day wildlife + Zanzibar beach tour, run by Magufwa Safaris. It was such an amazing holiday. We saw incredible wildlife on our Safari: Wildebeasts, zebra, lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, giraffe and more! The environment itself was stunning and made you really take a moment to appreciate our fragile planet. Our guide, Leonce, was terrific - very knowledgeable and great company. The highlight of the trip was definitely staying at the Hippo Trails Camp in the Seregeti were you sleep amongst the wildlife with superb hospitality. The team running the camp were so welcoming and warm and made our stay there such a delight.
We spent the last few days relaxing on Zanzibar at Blue Bay Hotel. The ocean views were stunning and napping under the sun listening to the waves was the perfect way to end our tour.
Overall our experience was amazing and very special -- I cannot recommend Tanzania enough!

The highlight of our trip was the combination of guide/driver in each lodge we stayed in. Guides are trained at College for 3 years and have exceptional knowledge of all aspects of the park they are assigned to. They know not only a lot of information about the animals, but also the birds, trees and history of the park. Their ability to find game is nothing less than amazing. They are also very pleasant company.
In July the weather was good , the accomodation in Foxes Lodges was excellent and the Selous and Ruaha provided spectacular scenery and a sense that you were almost alone in the bush. Both parks are sparsely populated with game so the scenery was important to making each drive special.

Tanzania in one of the top places to go for Safari. since the country is doing it's best to protect and preserve the nature. the weather was very pleasant during the time I visited. Accommodation can vary according to your preference and budget, but overall it is clean and comfortable , considering the environment you are in , resources are very limited and expensive in Africa. Food was good in all the places we stayed in, and again it vary from a hotel to another. But, overall it is clean an sufficient. The Transportation provided to us by the Safari company was good and suitable for riding the Safari bumpy roads. The Guid (Zaburi) was punctual , and Knowledgeable about the Wilde animals and its habitat. The Tour operator ( Afrishare Trekking & Safaris) delivered exactly what was in the plan, in fact they provided additional items that were not in the package ,for Free.

I can only express a very positive opinion on our experience of safari in Tanzania.
Wonderful nature, animals in high quantity and in a documentary context. We saw the big 5 and others.
Expert guides and comfortable jeeps, thanks to the Mamasavana tour operator. The Tanzanian people are wonderful, prepared, attentive to the needs of tourists and always smiling. Congratulations

This was my first safari and was really amazing. I really enjoyed it: I saw many wild animals (elephants, giraffes, impalas, crocodiles, lions, zebras ecc..), the scenery was beautiful, the weather was sunny but not too hot, the accommodation was really comfortable (a bed in a tent with a private bathroom in Hippo Camp), the food was fresh and tasty. The best point was for sure our guide Nestor, he is a real skilled driver, very kind and extremely prepared about everything in the camp. We communicated via WhatsApp and everything was fine, he tried to solve every problem I had and he was fast and clear in every answer to my questions. His jeep is a good one and the travel was nice (even if quite long). I really suggest this experience to everybody (lone travellers, families and couples).

We absolutely loved our safari! We saw the big 5 in the first 3 days of a 6 day safari, saw >15 lions a day and had baby cheetahs playing on our car at one point!! Glamping was incredible....nicer than most hotels in the US! What really made the trip, though, was our incredible guide! Elamus loved his job and it showed. He was great at finding animals so that we could see them up close without a million cars around. He took us out as the sun was rising and we didn't go back to camp until the sun was setting. We thought that a safari would be fun, but it was just absolutely incredible!!

Me and my husband were met at the airport by the representative of a safari company and driven to Arusha from where we had started our first safari. The manager Shabani Mbirize welcomed us at his office and explained the safari programme in detail. We had 6 days/5 nights camping safari in Tarangire park, Lake Manyara park, Serengeti 2 nights and Ngorongoro Crater. We were satisfied by the price and the quality of our safari. Our friendly driver Leonard was very attentive during the whole safari. Despite some problems with the battery of the car, he managed to show us everything we wanted :). The chef Saide always made us delicious food and kept saying to eat it slowly, slowly :)).We really enjoyed the time there. Thank you guys! The weather was wonderful, except for a little bit of rain and quite a chilly night on Ngorongoro rim (good sleeping bags are needed). The changing scenery with its mountainous views, bushy savannahs and endless plains was stunning, we were happy to see lots of

different species of animals including a cheetah, a leopard with a baby, lots of lions, gnus, gazelles, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, monkeys, hippos, crocodiles and hundreds of species of colourful and interesting birds. We enjoyed our accomodation with the evening acrobatic and dance show of the local performers and a spectacular sunrise at Panorama Public Campsite. However, Seronera public campsite in Serengeti is a bit overcrowded and dirty with cold showers and lack of toilet paper. But still, the shouts of hyenas wondering around at night around your tent make it an amazing life experience :). Simba public campsite is a special place with zebras grazing around all night long till the early morning and the elephant standing just in front of you by the washrooms :)). Tanzania is a perfect holiday destination for nature lovers!
