Incredible
Awesome time. Wildlife, scenery, accommodations, transportation were all great.
Incredible experience which allowed us to see much of the big game we came to see.
Excellent all around. Amazing agency highly recommend. This woman owned business is magnificent all the way. The entire staff was capable and welcoming so much so I not only used them for a safari but an organized trip of Zanzibar. I’ve personally recommended them while in Tanzania and felt important enough to write a review the word could see.

The open landscapes and variety of animals are incredible!
Lake Tanganyika trip to Gombe Stream National Park to see chimps
This was a unique and fun trip. All supplies are brought with you by boat, along with a chef, with comfortable tents (with beds) at the site. Sighting of chimps is not guaranteed, but trackers go out early in the morning to find their locations on the mountains and report back to your required - and valuable - guide. We were very lucky and saw over 13 chimps on 2 (out of 3) days. There is significant hiking and climbing involved over fairly rugged terrain. Some was bush-whacking. A hiking pole helped a lot. We also saw baboons, colobus monkeys and dung beetles. For people who love the out-of-doors, hiking and the chance of seeing chimps in the wild, this is an amazing experience. I am a Canadian, living in Tanzania for 9 months.

a great trip in a beautiful country
We had a great trip with Grassroots Safari to Mikumi,Sanje Falls and down to Selous Game Reserve. Everything was well organized and gave us a good impression about this beautiful country, its people and the great wildlife.
Thanks to Fikiri for joining us on this great experience and sharing his knowledge with us.

Exceeded my expectations !
I was worried because March is the beginning of rainy season, but it was amazing we saw the migration literally 1000s of wildebeest and zebras. Our guide China was amazing, he was a very good driver and very professional and informative. We did 4days 3 nights and saw at least 3 of the big 5 each day. We got much closer to the animals than I was expecting. We camped and it nicer than some of the KOAs I’ve stayed at, the bathrooms were a pleasant surprise(clean and surprisingly all handicap assessable). The food was very good and plentiful. We had an amazing time.

Tanzanian in February is worth visiting. The scenery and wild animals are so amazing!
Tanzanian in February is worth visiting. There are not so many tourists, but you could still meet a lot of animals and enjoy the land in green. The must see will be Ngorongoro crater area and Ndutu. Highly recommended to everyone!

It was an amazing experience we saw all the wild life we wanted to see and the parks were beautiful
The wild life was abundant and our guide was brilliant at finding the quieter spots to show us the animals. It was an amazing time of year to go as all the animals had babies which really added to the excitement and experience of seeing the wild animals. We had our own driver and cook with Shemeji which was no more expensive than other companies but we were then able to watch the animals for as long as we wanted with no competition for viewing spots in the jeep. The food was excellent I don't know how the chef managed to keep producing such good food with no shops around. Weather was great only 1 downpour during the 7 day safari. Campsites were fine although our tent was small, worth checking on the size of the tent.
Travelled on to Zanzibar for second half of trip, staying at Matemwe for diving and then Jambiani which was beautiful, look up the Rock Restaurant !
