We only visited the north and west but the contrast between Chobe and the Okavango was quite marked and the two really complemented one another.

A vast range of habitats - we visited the Kalahari, Okavango Delta and Chobe all three were entirely different but captivating. Botswana is quieter and you feel more at one with nature as there aren't the hordes of vans viewing every Cheetah or Leopard you come across, you really are out in the country but feel totally safe, well fed and watered.

Botswana is unspoiled. The government has the wisdom to protect its species and its environment.

We saw a lot of wildlife in Botswana, not only during the game drive, also when we hit the roads, giraffes, zebras, kudus, springboks etc, we spotted lot of birds as well on the electricity poles and trees.
Nice weather in march and nice peoples. we will definitely visit Botswana again in the near future.

Low tourist volume compare to other safari destinations and quality of the lodges. Also the diversity of the locations makes the safari have a lot of variation in the scenery and animals.

I loved Botswana, especially the Chobe National Park, where we saw an abundance of wildlife and in particular, elephants, monkeys, lions & hippo. We stayed in the North near Kasane.

Botswana is the best of both worlds, it combines a stable and vibey cultural as well as magnificent natural view of true Africa.

We were unable to see many cats during our visit. The meerkats in Makgadikgadi brought the best out in all of us. We were also lucky enough to see an African Lynx while we were there. We prefer private drivers and moving from camp to camp with different guides was not as special as East Africa. Drivers seemed to give the same schpiel.
