Our safari was organised by a Kenyan company based in Nairobi and we were extremely satisfied with their arrangements. We visited Samburu, Sweet Water, Naivasha and the Masai Mara. We traveled by Land Cruiser which was comfortable and suited to the terrain (especially in Samburu) and our accommodation met all our requirements. We found the staff to be welcoming and ready to oblige at all the lodges / tented camps. The food was good everywhere and excellent in some instances.
Our guide, who was with us throughout, had a wide breadth of knowledge about the various locations and the wildlife and his experience and understanding added to our pleasure and awe. We particularly enjoyed the arid ruggedness of Samburu and the wide expanses of the Mara punctuated by the odd tree on the skyline.
The animals were plentiful and we were fortunate to see four of the big five (the leopard eluded us) and one of the most memorable experiences was witnessing a lion kill at close range. We were also able to observe a family group of five cheetah in close proximity. Less spectacular, but equally memorable, was the guided walk at Naivasha lake. It is a trip we would happily repeat and we would have no hesitation in using the same company to make our arrangements.

An excellent Trip to kenya for exploring Africa

we are into Kenya to explore African wild life and culture, we found it is excellent, Kenya is a welcoming country had a beautiful wild life (Savana Grass land) experience, we found locals very helpful, co operative and sweet spoken, there if a fear of looting some time if you are alone which is very common in all African countries for locals also this is not only for foreigners, we need to take care to visit any lonely places, we found taxies are very expensive, one need to bargaining with them, we believe Kenyan economy can grow at very fast pace if they attract foreign investment into country by providing safe environment, most of the peoples are well versed with English language which is very helpful for any foreigner. we would like to visit Kenya again while animal migration, we Thank you very much to all Kenyan citizens who provided us a very cooperative and helpful environment with lot of love.

Plenty of wildlife to watch in the most comfortable way possible.

We booked our Safari from Tekko Tours & Travel. They provided us with a driver/tour guide for 6 days and booked our preferred accommodation. We spent 2 days at Kibo Safari camp in Amboseli, 1 day at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge in Lake Nakuru and 2 days at Mara Sarova Camp in Masai Mara. Amboseli was great place to see Mt. Kilimanjaro and plenty of wildlife although lions and cheetahs/leopard were difficult to spot. Kibo Safari Camp was wonderful with great hospitality, separate camps giving good privacy, the camp was dark enough to see Milky Way with naked eye and a swimming pool. Lake Nakuru was a disappointment as most of the flamingoes have migrated to other places but still there were plenty of birds to watch and listen to. Masai Mara was the best place to spot the Big Five and all other animals. The rooms in Sarova Lion Hill Lodge had thin walls so we could hear noise from outside and from adjacent room and unfortunately, our neighbours were noisy. But there were plenty of birds here for bird watchers. Mara Sarova Camp was very beautiful and it had quite some greenery inside to walk around. Overall, it was excellent vacation, great food, wildlife and awesome hospitality.

Thanks a lot to the team of Beacon Safaris, my week in Kenya was awesome. I enjoyed EVERY MINUTE OF MY TRIP from the great lodge accommodations in Amboseli (Kibo) and in Tsavo (Kilaguni) and the exciting game drives (thank you John for everything). The perfect end was the 3 days in Diani Beach, a paradise on Earth. I gladly recommend Beacon Safaris for a stress free experience!

Kenya is a great place to see wildlife of all shape and sizes, people are friendly and open. The landscape is very dieverse cooler in the hills, and arid on the Masai Mara. We have been on safari there twice, and had a fantastic time. Will be going again soon I hope.
