Back in late February 22nd to 26th, I treated myself with a little vacation holiday after successfully completing the semester. I chose Vwasu expedition as my host turning out to be the best decision I have ever made! You know those wildlife adventures you see on TV? It was like stepping into a dream that I’d always had.Well Vwasu made them feel more real and spectacular.
Our tour guide was amazing!!!making every moment full of excitement and wonder. Huge shout out to Vwasu for giving me such an incredible memory, looking forward to return during the summer holidays and this time I’m bringing along some friends to share the adventure.

Robi the super driver
I had booked safari for three days maasai mara with my friends, robi made it possible regardless of the rain the rain was heavy I thought we could not see anything but we actually saw everything through the effort of our guide Robi we enjoyed beautiful nature of maasai mara by seeing many different types of animals and trees,even after our van got damaged he made sure we have arrived to our destination on time congratulations Robin you really won our hearts,I recommend robi to anyone who want to enjoy safari Africa see you soon with my family they are very interested in visiting Kenya

I must say that the organization of the tour was excellently well prepared by miréne , who was very attentive at all my requests and who provided us an excellent guide peter maley who gave us complete answers at all our questions about animals, massais ,vegetation,geological ,etc etc. providing also his own different books of wildlife if we wanted to deepen

Fabulous experience - a great Masai Mara safari and lodge, and brilliant value for money
Jimmy was a fantastic tour guide - fun, informative and a smooth driver! The highlight of the safari was seeing a cheetah and lionesses and their cubs.
We were blown away by our accommodation at the Jambo Safari Lodge. All inclusive and very high standard hospitality and food at the lodge. The only improvement would be that the packed lunches were a little uninspiring.
Well organised and highly recommeded!

5-star Service, an Amazing Adventure
Booking our safari with Splendid was a great decision. The James was attentive, listened to all my wants and put together an memorable trip for me and my family which included a 4-day safari and 2-day beach trip.
We were paired with a knowledgeable guide, Alex, who was patient, understanding and funny. Our itinerary was followed closely but Alex was flexible when it came to our kids. He stopped for any animal they wanted to see, including squirrels. The photos and videos we took were amazing….National Geographic quality.
Our hotels were well-maintained, food was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. They were located within the parks themselves and offered great views of animals without leaving the property. At one property, we were offered a “big 5” wake-up call in case they came to the watering hole during the night.
All in all, no one in my family will forget this trip. Highlights included:
- 5 lionesses and 1 cub catching some shade
- A herd of elephants taking a red soil bath
- Two different elephant families greeting each other
- A wild dog family frolicking in the street and
- Two male giraffes fighting over a girl
Thanks to James and Alex for a wonderful vacation. It was an unbelievable experience, filled with wonderful memories and a trip we will talk about for years to come.

It's a specially customized surprise journey，we love that!
It's a very surprising journey! We felt very unknown before we went, but Steve and our guide Elay gave us a sense of security and an unforgettable journey. Steve patiently answered our questions and provided the most detailed advice. The guide Elay, was very experienced and made us feel excited about being close to wildlife while ensuring our safety. He can provide witty and humorous answers to the questions we mentioned about wildlife. Because it was a private trip for two people, both the hotel and Safari itinerary were very comfortable, following our pace. It will be unforgettable for a lifetime.

Experiencing Safari in its Truest Form
The safari organized and conducted by Savannah Woods Safaris, under the guidance of Mr. Moses, was highly professional and meticulously detailed. We, a group of four, had an incredibly pleasant experience and were able to have unforgettable memories. We were lucky enough to spot four out of the Big Five game animals, largely due to Mr. Moses exceptional spotting skills and experience.
The hotel selections by Savannah Woods Safaris did not disappoint. The itinerary was followed to the letter and everything was punctual. We never felt rushed or uncomfortable. Our well-being was always the top priority of Ms. Lucy and Mr. Moses. All things considered, I can wholeheartedly recommend the team at Savannah Woods Safaris and wish them all the best. We will definitely be returning to find and spot the last missing Big Five game animal.

Well informed and passionate tour guide of Rwanda
Great experience for a two-day tour around Volcanoes National Park (golden monkey trekking), Lake Kivu and Nyungwe National Park. Emmanuel was very organised which allowed the tour to go smoothly throughout. He was very knowledgeable about the country and provided ongoing explanations on the culture, history and geography of the country. It was good value for money given the amount of attractions we got to see across the whole country. I would recommend the tour provider to anyone visiting Rwanda!
