Makasa Tanzanian Safaris exceeded my expectations in every way
5/5

I was somewhat concerned as we only communicated via email, but Selma created an itinerary for us, listened to what we wanted to see and do (eg I wanted to do a walking safari and visit a Maasai village so we were booked at the Ndarakwai Ranch where we were able to do both safely). We were also interested in staying in tented as well as lodge accomodations and Selma's itinerary included both.
Another concern we had was the small size of the company, however, Makasa and our excellent guide David made this a trip of a lifetime. David is extremely knowledgable about his country, animals, birds, reptiles, trees and plants. He organized our daily games drives so we saw amazing sights everyday. David did not rush us along when we wanted to watch elephants or lions or leopards (sometimes for as much as an hour at a time). He speaks very good english and has a wonderful sense of humor.
We spent 15 days on safari in Tanzania from West Kilimanjaro area, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, Rhotia Valley, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater. We ended our trip by staying 4 days in Zanzibar.
Makasa exceeded our expextations with the arrangements, itinerary, communications, and with David as our safari guide and driver. I cannot recommend them enough for anyone who wants a personalized tour of Tanzania.

Wonderful days in Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro
5/5

The company is trustworthy. Joseph - the driver/ guide also the owner of the company was very well informed about animals, nature and he was very helpful, honest and competent guy and the most important very caring and friendly person. Thanks to him I discovered the beauty of Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater. He was so patient and always stoped when I wanted to take pictures. He offered binoculars when animals where far and if I didn't know some animals he always described it with details and showed informations in his books. Thanks a lot Jo for wonderful safari time!

Unforgettable experience !
5/5

My wife and I did a 12 day trip in Tanzania with Safari Infinity. It was an unforgettable experience!

1) Our guide Robert was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and interesting. He knew answers to most of our questions. Fantastic guide!

2) The organization of the trip was perfect. There were no mistakes. We had an easy time booking the trip, and we had an easy time doing the trip.

3) We spent 8 days in the parks enjoying wildlife. One word: Amazing.

4) We spent 4 days hiking around "Ol Doinyo Lengai" area. Breathtaking views! Did not meet a single tourist.

5) Food was delicious and fresh everywhere we stayed. We were particularly surprised by the quality of food prepared by our cook Rashid on the hiking part of our trip(Calzones for lunch? Yup, he made it from scratch!)

6) We travel quite a bit and have seen a lot. Experiencing Tanzania with Safari Infinity has been one of the highlights of our lives.

Trip of a Lifetime

We had the most amazing time (even without our luggage for one of the weeks), safari was out of this world! We saw every animal you could imagine; leopard, cheetah, lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, giraffes and so much more! The trip advisor, driver and chef were really helpful, professional and kind. The people were so friendly and approachable. Zanzibar was beautiful and peaceful and was perfect place to go after our safari. The food in Zanzibar was incredible - fresh fruit and fish! We also drove in Zanzibar which was ideal to get to different areas - we were stopped by the police quite a bit but most of them were friendly and were just doing their job. All in all the trip was amazing and we are now in love with Africa and want to come back to explore more of it.

There experience of a lifetime
5/5

The entire experience was first rate from communication to accommodation to guiding to Kruger Park. The only downside was the food which was so - so. However, we didn't go for the food. We would highly recommend the experience and Wildlife Safaris.

We were doing an 11-day tour from Murchsion Falls NP, Kibale, QENP, Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi. Worth every minute. Our tour guide must have one of the safest pair of hands in East Africa. Amazingly different landscape over relatively short distances. Animal Safaris were great- you’ll never step into a zoo again. Food and accommodation of very good Standard. If time and budget allow, Kampala really deserves a few days exploration. Highly recommended.

Quick response with good service and very affordable price.
5/5

This trip to Kenya & Tanzania was fantastic, all the hotels we have stayed were excellent, all with different and new experience. And the tour operator's quick response with good service and very affordable price. The best time to Visit Massai Mara End of July and August. All other places ( Naiversha, Amboseli, Manyara & Serengeti are just average places). If someone is planning for exploring wildlife alone, the best place would be Massai Mara (3-4 Days) and if you want to explore more places then Naiversha(1day), Amboseli(1day), Ngorongoro(1day) and Serengeti(2 days) would be better option. You will have to travell a lot, so be prepared for this. Also note: older USD notes before 2004 will not be accepted in Kenya, so make sure you have USD currency printed after 2004.
