Highly professional and committed to making every game drive a memorable experience.
5/5

Our driver Raymond went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible wildlife experience. He always positioned the jeep perfectly, giving us incredible views of every animal we encountered. In 1 day we saw lions, cheeta, even a leopard, elephants and many other but not to forget the great migration at the river. The safari was truly unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Amazing safari experience
5/5

We booked a 3-day masai mara safari in a tented camp. The communication with Axis was very good. Tabitha replied swiftly, everything was taken care of. We came from Nakuru, so the driver picked us up in Narok. Also that went smoothly as our driver got in touch with us before.

Raymond is an amazing driver. He knows everyone and always finds the best spot to have a good view of the animals. He took good care of us and made our time in masai mara wonderful.

The tented camp was basic, but the staff was very friendly and we had all we needed: a hot shower at all times, a comfortable tent, good food. All was taken care of and we felt very welcome.

All in all a great experience!

Lukiano was the best guide - thoughtful, friendly, warm-hearted and so knowledgable!
5/5

We truly can't recommend Lukiano enough! Before we even arrived, he was so responsive and helpful in answering our questions about our safari and our travels to Tanzania generally. Throughout the safari, he put so much thought into the experience and shared so much knowledge and many stories with us. He was a greater driver and the vehicle was very comfortable, he was a delight to share meals with, and truly remarkable as a guide (it's clear he has so much experience!). We saw so, so many animals - way more than we expected to see! It was a phenomenal experience all around and we hope to one day travel with Lion Guides again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Serengeti Wakanda Safari Review

7-Day Northern Circuit Safari + Cultural Experience

We are a family of 4 from California 2 adults and 2 teenagers, ages 13 & 16, and this was truly the trip of a lifetime. After a lot of research, we chose Serengeti Wakanda, and they exceeded our expectations from beginning to end. The price is also cheaper than what we budgeted for, so we did some extra stay and upgrade.

📅 Our Itinerary

* 2 nights at Melia Arusha before the safari arranged by Serengeti Wakanda at a lower price than booking online
* Tarangire National Park
* Serengeti National Park 2 nights
* Ngorongoro Crater
* Cultural visits to the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes
* 2 extra nights after the safari at a hotel of our own choosing

🚙 Safari Vehicle

* Comfortable and well-maintained Toyota Land Cruiser.
* Plenty of room for our family and luggage.
* Reliable vehicle throughout the entire trip.
* Comfortable even during long game drives.

🦁 Tour Guide – Bashir

This is one of the biggest reasons our safari was so successful.

* Extremely knowledgeable about wildlife and the parks.
* Amazing at spotting animals, even those we would have completely missed.
* Knows where to position the vehicle for the best views and photos.
* Patient, professional, friendly, and always made us feel safe.
* Answered all of our questions about the animals, culture, and Tanzania.
* A great safari guide can make or break your trip, and Bashir was outstanding.

🍽️ Food

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food.

* Delicious meals throughout the trip.
* Great variety every day.
* Even our picky teenagers enjoyed the food.
* Serengeti Wakanda sends a questionnaire before your trip so you can list dietary preferences, allergies, and foods you like or dislike.

🎈 Hot Air Balloon Safari

We booked the balloon ride through Serengeti Wakanda with Miracle Experience.

* Absolutely worth every penny.
* Incredible sunrise over the Serengeti.
* Followed by a wonderful bush breakfast.
* Serengeti Wakanda was able to get us a price that was lower than the advertised price from the balloon company, which was a pleasant surprise.

🏨 Accommodations

Every lodge exceeded our expectations.

* Laundry service is available a little pricier than the safari lodges.

* Very comfortable accommodations.

Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge

* Beautiful gardens.
* Spacious family room w/ a loft.
* Peaceful atmosphere.
* Excellent food.
* Great place to relax after long game drives.

🚗 Safari Pace

* The pace was very comfortable overall.
* The only long travel day was transferring between Ngorongoro and the Serengeti, but the incredible scenery along the way made the drive enjoyable.
* Looking back, we wish we had added one more night in the Serengeti because there is so much to see.

💵 Money Tips

* Everything else was already taken care of.

❤️ Final Thoughts

This safari exceeded every expectation we had. The wildlife, landscapes, accommodations, food, organization, and cultural experiences all came together to create unforgettable memories for our family.

If you’re considering a safari in Tanzania, I highly recommend Serengeti Wakanda. They were responsive, organized, honest, and took care of every detail from the moment we arrived until the day we left.

A special thank you to Bashir, whose knowledge, experience, and passion made every game drive exciting and unforgettable. We saw an incredible variety of wildlife, and many of those sightings were possible because of his expertise.

If we ever return to Tanzania, we would absolutely book with Serengeti Wakanda again.

Tip for future travelers: If your budget allows, add one extra night in the Serengeti—you won’t regret it!

I Came for the Migration, Left with a Lifetime of Memories
5/5

As a solo traveler, I booked a 9-day Grumeti Migration Tour of Seven Wonders Safaris in May. The whole experience was better than the dream. The management of the tour company Seven Wonders Safaris was perfect. My guide was Jackson – his experience and storytelling was amazing. He not only discovered animals, but also taught them a lot about their behavior, the environment.
Watching the sunset under the baobab trees in Tarangire, watching the rhinos and other animals inside the Ngorongoro Crater, and most importantly, the migration scene in the Grumeti River area of Serengeti - these can not be expressed in words. The moments of the herd of thousands of animals and the hunting of big cats with them will always be remembered. Accommodations were comfortable and the food was delicious. With a guide like Jackson, the entire tour was educational and exciting. Thanks to Seven Wonders Safaris - this tour has truly been a classic. If you want to see the migration of the Serengeti, don't miss this tour!

Excellent planning and service for our three-generation family safari
5/5

Rhino Africa did an excellent job planning our three-generation family trip to Zimbabwe. Our group of six included a grandparent, adult family members, and two children, and the arrangements throughout the trip were smooth and very well coordinated.
Our travel consultant, Des Saayman, recommended excellent lodges. We stayed at Somalisa Acacia in Hwange National Park and Victoria Falls River Lodge, and both proved to be outstanding choices for our family.
Des also arranged several memorable experiences during our stay at Victoria Falls, including a helicopter tour of the Falls and coffee on Stanley’s Terrace at the historic Victoria Falls Hotel. She also ensured seamless transportation between Victoria Falls River Lodge and these activities, allowing our family to enjoy each experience without having to worry about the logistics.
I was particularly impressed by Des’s responsiveness and personal attention. When I had a question about a charter flight and contacted her outside normal office hours via WhatsApp, she responded promptly that same evening. She also suggested a VIP Meet and Assist service at Cape Town International Airport, where we transited on our way home from Victoria Falls. This greatly reduced the stress and confusion of navigating a busy airport and saved us about 30 minutes of waiting in line. That level of service was very reassuring, particularly when traveling with a family group and dealing with transportation arrangements in remote safari destinations.
From selecting excellent lodges and arranging special experiences to coordinating transportation for all six of us, Des and Rhino Africa handled the details extremely well. Their careful planning and personal service contributed greatly to a memorable family trip, and I would enthusiastically recommend Rhino Africa to anyone planning a safari in Southern Africa.
