Great!
5/5

Amazing! My first time doing safari. A friend arranged the one week trip for a group of four (two couples) - it was his second time with this company! Very grateful to have experienced Tanzanian nature. Many thanks to our guide/driver/companion Endeni for his incredible knowledge and passion for animals. Def 💯 recommended.

Bashir is good natured, knowledgeable, and hospitable.
5/5

Words really cannot do this trip justice. Irene was so helpful in coordinating the trip and answered all questions promptly. We were able to see so many animals and birds. Our guide Bashir was so thoughtful and an expert on locating animals (patience is key). Luckily on our trip we were able to see the big five, lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and a leopard in less than 24 hours. The lodging was clean and the hotel staff was very attentive. Bashir was so knowledgeable it was like watching a nature documentary. I would 100 percent recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Irene and Bashir!

Wonderful, amazing and helpful tour operator
5/5

Our safari with Axis Africa was an incredible experience. The tour operator was very thorough and organised and everything was planned for us including food, accommodation and activities. The places that we stayed were all awesome and all the game drives we went on were fantastic too. Our tour guide Ken was amazing and worked so hard to ensure we saw a range of animals in the parks, while also being respectful to the nature and animals. Overall, we absolutely loved the trip and cannot thank Axis and Ken enough.

Amazing tour to see the essential beauties of Mikumi
5/5

We spent 4 days with our guide Apollo as a couple in Mikumi National Park. Apollo was extremely knowledgable about... everything. Wildlife, daily life in Tanzania and beyond. It was an amazing experience and we got to see a wide array of wild animals in Mikumi. Baboons, impalas, zebras, gnus, hippos, lions and we even had a direct encounter and road cross with a lovely giraffe and a family of elephants! The hike in Nudzungwa mountains revealed one of the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen.
The (somewhat challenging) hike made the view from top of the Nudzungwa waterfalls even more rewarding.
Starting from the warm welcome and punctual pick up to the goodbye and drop off everything worked out smoothly. The accomodation in Camp Bastian is extremely luxurious for the local standards and everyone tries to make you feel very valued. The ventilation, food and comodities were splendid.

All in all, I can only fully recommend this experience. While everyone might experience it differently I am sure that everyone shares the joy in it. Asante Apollo!

Philip was on the ball, always checking in and following up and helped with all my funny requests

What a lovely experience! They made sure we were collected and helped at the airport for our connection. The resort we visited was just amazing. All my food requirements for travel were sorted, I am thrilled, and they kept in touch throughout. Will recommend

High expectations for a high price, outcome was disappointing
2/5

We booked a two-day private safari for Tarangire & Ngorongoro Crater. The first day Tarangire was fine, everything was well arranged and the lodge we stayed in for one night was beautiful.

However, the second day at Ngorongoro Crater was totally different than expected. When we arrived at the gate of the Crater, our guide had trouble entering the Crater…. there was a ‘technical issue’. At the same time, others had no trouble at all entering the Crater.

Eventually we waited up to 3 hours!! During this time, we were not held up to date or what so ever.

After 3 hours, we could finally enter the Crater, but because of this, there was not much time left. We visited the Crater on a very short notice and in a rush. Not what we had expected and paid for.

Eventually I had contact with the Guest relations Tour operator manager, who offered us a refund of $100…. which is not comparable to the time we have lost and the amount we have paid for the trip.

We are very disappointed…

Amazing and informative guides, made our safari experience what it was!
5/5

I would highly recommend Unveiled Tanzania Safaris to anyone looking to do a quality, but affordable, safari in Tanzania. Over my four day safari with them, I had the opportunity to see Tarangire Park, the world famous Serengeti Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater. During each of these days, my tours were led by a guide who informed us about all of the animals and the history of the parks. Two of the nights were spent camping, which was an adventure in and of itself. The campgrounds are completely safe and monitored by safari rangers, but you can expect to hear (and maybe even see!) wild animals during the day and night! Another highlight of this safari experience was the food. All of our meals were home cooked by a wonderful chef, and there was always the perfect amount for our large group of 6-7. These meals gave us an opportunity to try authentic Tanzanian food.
Overall, I would recommend Unveiled Tanzania Safaris to anyone looking to do a meaningful and enjoyable safari in Tanzania. If and when I come back to the country for my next safari, I plan to rebook with them!

Amazing feels like family
5/5

The game safari were awesome, but even if we went for 2 hour just to get in habit of safari, our guide John showed us all big 5 and gave time and perfect angles for photo graph. The guides hotels and mainly the safari is value for money.

Very nice!
4/5

The communication with the operator went very well. They came to our hotel the night before to provide us with some more information about our hike on Mount Meru.
They went through a list with everything we needed and it seemed we weren't prepared as good as we thought. Maybe a little tip for the operator: sent a list upfront with everything you need for the hike.
It wasn't a problem for them to stop at the rental/supermarket to provide us with some more stuff.
Kadjia (think it's written like this) was a very nice guide and talked us through everything. Once on the mountain he helped us a lot (like carrying my water bottle because according to him, it was too heavy for me). Normally, you're supposed to hike to Saddle hut on day 2, do an acclimatisation to Little Meru, come down and wake up the next day at around 1pm to start the hike to the summit. As it would be raining the day after, they suggested us to do the hike to the summit the same day and watch the sunset, which was good for us as it was sunny. My boyfriend and I were very sick from the acclimatisation so Kadjia carried my backpack for me to the summit. The paths were very rough but they always made sure I could follow and felt safe.

The sunset was beautiful and I was so happy that we still did it the same day!!
The day after, we had to descend and I felt a bit rushed but that was not from dancing simba safaries, but someone from another operator. Our guide always said "pole pole" as I twisted my ankle a couple of times.

Would definitely recommend
