No words to describe our experience with Suricata! We were picked up, with our 2 children, for 5 days of Private Camping Safari from the day we arrived in Arusha until the day we returned to the airport. Rocky our guide is exceptional!!! Funny, very experienced, speaking very good French, adorable with our children, he bent over backwards to please us and gave us an incredible experience with a multitude of surprises at all times. We had the chance to witness scenes worthy of the greatest animal documentaries thanks to him. Our children (12 and 9 years old) still have stars in their eyes.

There are so many nice things to say about the offer can travel consultants! I’ve already referred a couple friends to use this company for their honeymoon. Andy was wonderful and invested in our trip from day one. We started planning a few months in advance, and he made sure we got everything we wanted on our itinerary. This included three different Safari lodges, one at Sabi Sands (world class five star experience) and two at Kruger national park, hamiltons tented camp and hoyo hoyo we’re our favorites. The quality of stay, staff, luxury treatment and experience were all wonderful. The exposure to the wildlife was incredible! Furthermore, all our stays were beautiful, and curated for our honeymoon. In Cape Town, we stayed at a nice five star hotel with access to the Victoria Alfred Waterfront. The transportation service was wonderful, as the private shuttles picked us up on time for our tours every morning and Andy planned it all. You can count on Andy to get the job done. While planning, he had some tough workarounds and came through every time in a professional, personable manner and was successful at troubleshooting any issues. I worked with Joseph to coordinate a trip for my loved one's birthday. My aunt and uncle had a great time with Joseph, he even remembered and helped coordinate their birthday celebration while on the safari. Joseph went above and beyond to ensure they were comfortable, enjoying their time and well taken care of.

At the outset of our planning (extended to 3years due to Covid-19) we fully expected the primate trekking aspects of our trip, both chimpanzee and gorilla, to be astonishing and unforgettable. And they were. What we not prepared for was the sheer beauty of the natural landscapes in Uganda. This completely exceeded our expectations. From the awesome power of Murchison Falls to the majestic landscapes of the Kasenda Crater Lakes, the endless view across the Nile River and of course Lake Victoria. We have travelled to more than 10 African countries and Uganda has to be among the most beautiful and alluring of them all.
David Mukwaya from Speke Uganda Holidays was our guide. From start to finish, David could not have done more to make our holiday as relaxed and smooth running as it possible could. From our evening briefings, never failing to be on time and to schedule, to the gift of a meal on the shores of Lake Victoria, even man-handling our luggage at every turn, he was the perfect gentleman. Intelligent, well-informed and polite, we discussed many topics with David during our 2 weeks together including the wildlife, how people live, how Uganda is developing, and many many more. We grew close during our two weeks together, miss him and hope to see him again sometime (may in a combined Uganda-Rwanda adventure).

Excellent 4-day safari in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro
Me and my husband did a 4-day private safari trip with It Started in Africa and it was the best experience! We visited 3 parks (Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro) and our guide Martin was great, providing us with lots of information about the parks and animals and he was also great at tracking animals. We've seen lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and many more. We've even seen a rhino! It was very exciting, even if we saw it only from far away :)
People at It Started in Africa are very friendly, kind and helpful, e.g. they picked us up from the bus station the day before the start of our trip, and dropped us off there as well the day after (all free of charge).
I highly recommend taking a trip with them, it will be a one in a lifetime experience :)

Wonderful safari
We are a family with a 7-year-old boy and we have done a 7-day private safari, passing through Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Eyasi, where we went to meet the Hadzabe tribe for a few hours. The whole trip, from the pick up at the airport to the return to it, has been spectacular. Our guide Fahdili and the cook Pasco have made this trip an unforgettable experience.
We have seen many animals of all kinds, such as lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, wildebeest, crocodiles, servals, leopards, hyenas, vultures, ...
We totally recommend hiring Claws of Africa, since both the organization of the trip and the human treatment have enchanted us. We hope to be able to repeat the experience in the not too distant future.

Lemomo was a splendid guide, driver and companion, who could spot an animal from afar. We much enjoyed all the knowledge he could share during the trip!!
