We were in camp site accommodation and it was an amazing experience to sleep in the wilderness.
Thanks Suricata for this experience !

Great Experience!
5/5

I recently booked a Safari for my clients and I am so happy that I partnered with Wild Race. The communication was great with Simon. He answered all of my questions and went above and beyond to assist my clients. They raved about their experience - wild life viewing, food and accommodations. Thank you!

Great Operator manage to help three outdoor rookies successfully climb Kilimanjaro!
5/5

We are three outdoor rookies all manage to climb Kilimanjaro with Spirit of Kilimanjaro team. The communication with William before we arrive is very smooth, we have asked a lot questions and made various requests. William is very responsive and patient, accommodating to our request very well. When one of our member missed flight, he is very helpful and providing all types of solutions. With no experience of high attitude climb, we had a rough start with mountain sickness and almost all want to quit before day 3. Our team leader Mfaume is very experienced, he evaluates our situation throughly, gives us a lot of encouragement, and adjust the rhythm, daily task accordingly. Thanks to him and the team’s help, we all adapt the situation better every day and all successfully climb to the top. We had a great experience and appreciate Spirit of Kilimanjaro team’s expertise in guiding us though physical challenges, caring us with great support and warm heart like a family. We highly recommend the team to everyone!

Trustworthy and reliable !
5/5

We had a wonderful and unforgettable journey with Nextgen Safari. On the first day, we were picked up from Entebbe Airport in the evening. The next day, they took us to Shoebill Trekking and then to Ziwa Rhino Trekking in the afternoon. On the third day, we drove early in the morning to Kibale and went for Chimpanzee Trekking in the afternoon. On the fourth day, we drove all day from Uganda to near Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park to check in. On the fifth day, we went for Gorilla Trekking at the Volcanoes National Park; after that, they dropped us off at a hotel in Kigali, concluding the ground handling service.
The entire process went very smoothly. Communication with Benald was also very smooth during the pre-trip period—he was incredibly patient and answered all my questions promptly. This gave us great peace of mind to entrust this journey to Nextgen Safari. The driver assigned, Renatus, was very shy and quiet but an excellent driver—definitely worth recommending!!!!

Trip of a lifetime with Tapestry of Africa - 11 day safari to Kenya and Tanzania
5/5

I will start this review by saying that some of us in the group had been on safari 12 yrs ago, myself included and absolutely loved it. Now fast forward, I couldn’t find the company I had used 12 years ago for Kenya but I had used Basecamp for Tanzania and they are still in business. That does not surprise me as they were excellent.
This time around I found out about safaribookings.com from Tripadvisor and went to check it out. That is where I found Tapestry of Africa. They did both Kenya and Tanzania so I wouldn’t have to do the coordination between the two countries myself and could use just one company. Perfect!
12 years ago, I had to wire deposits and final payment to the two companies I used and that is somewhat stressful. If you have ever done it, you know what I mean. I don’t know about all the companies now-a-days but with Tapestry of Africa I was able to pay by credit card which was a big deal for all of us. It was a painless process.
They were a fairly new company at the time that I booked which had me treading carefully. They only had a couple of reviews on their site and had no presence at all on Tripadvisor yet. So I called them and had a conversation with Matt and many, many emails. He sent me all their licenses and other documentation and worked with me tirelessly to come up with the perfect safari itinerary for myself, my husband, my sister, her husband, my nephew and our parents. In short he earned our trust. He was very patient and helpful, all the time.
Matt always responded VERY quickly to any questions, suggestions and changes that we made. He was absolutely wonderful to talk to and very genuine.
Some of the camps that we stayed at were suggested by Matt and some of them I found. Between the two of us we came up with an awesome itinerary for us. We had a budget we wanted to stick to and I told him what we were looking for in places we would stay. From that he could determine what would work for us. He did that beautifully! All the camps were amazing.
We had the added dimension of the fact that my parents are 82 and 84 years old. My dad, at 84, often walks with a cane and can be unsteady. I asked if we could have a step stool to help my dad get into the land cruiser. The answer was of course and each vehicle always had a folding step stool to help my dad into the truck. We had three different guides as we went from Kenya to Tanzania and back to Kenya again. All three guides were wonderful, very knowledgeable, so patient and helpful with my dad, great spotting all the wildlife and good drivers. I cannot say enough about all of them. We learned so many new and interesting things that I didn’t know from the last time.
I would highly recommend Tapestry of Africa to anyone. They will take care of you and make your safari absolutely wonderful. In fact, we are looking to go Uganda next year and would really like it to be Tapestry of Africa that takes care of that trip also.
If you are thinking of going on safari, just do it. And hire Tapestry of Africa to be your guides and take care of your group. You won’t be disappointed. Worth every penny.

Magical Kenya
Jan 2026 • Couples
My husband and I, in our seventies, spent 8 days with Yusuf as our guide through Terminal Tours. He made the trip a pure joy for us. He is bright, eloquent, kind, caring and extremely witty. Having a guide like this, a real friend, made the visit to many parts of Kenya truly magical for us. We cannot offer enough praise for him. Thank you Terminal Tours and, most of all, thank you Yusuf. Incredibly fun experience and amazing guides
5/5

All the way from the first email through to hotel drop off we had an incredible experience with Thinkk travels.
As a group of 10 we had two vehicles travelling together and had amazing guides Tony, Paul, and Terri. They were so knowledgeable and helped us see a huge amount of Masai Mara with so many animals. We felt so safe with them driving such rough terrain too!!
And huge thanks to Muthoni for the recommendations and booking support all along the way - super efficient and detailed communication.

Very happy with the whole experience
4/5

I booked a 10 day budget safari through global threads for myself and senior father. 6 days in Kenya and 4 in Tanzania. The cost was $1500 usd per person but we decided to upgrade to the midrange accommodation which was $2500. Madelyne arranged for us to have separate rooms, which was very nice to have. For the Kenyan portion we went to masa Mara(10/10, lake Nakuru(7/10)and Amboseli(8/10). Our driver John was amazing and I don’t think there is a better one. He would get us into the best spots to see the animals up close and would go ahead to where the wildlife would be walking by, which made for some great pictures and videos. The accommodation was quite nice, either a cabin, hotel or luxury tent. The budget accommodation was decent as well, less amenities but after a long day you just want to shower eat and sleep mostly. If I were to come back and do the same 6 days in Kenya I would do the budget accommodation.

The Tanzania portion, which included Serengeti(8/10) and Ngorongoro crater(9/10), had some good and some not so good. The accommodation at the charity hotel 2 nights, same place for midrange and budget, wasn’t great, find for budget but not so much when you pay a $1000 upgrade. Two of the camps we stayed at during the safari were the nicest of the whole trip. The budget was pretty much just camping. The vehicle we were riding in was old and in pretty rough shape, multiple things on it broke during the safari. Assami our driver took good care of us and kept the vehicle going. The return to Nairobi was an uncomfortable shuttle bus. It wasn’t a great way to end the trip. Overall the food was decent but the lunch boxes were bad and we didn’t want to eat them. I would recommend this company to my friends s as nd use them again if I return.

Truly professional and funny Safari Guide
5/5

I just returned from an incredible 7-day safari adventure and wanted to give a big, special shoutout to our amazing guide, Tumain, who truly made the trip unforgettable. He was professional, knowledgeable, and had a fantastic sense of humor that kept us smiling even on long drives. Despite traveling during the low season, he went above and beyond to find wildlife for us — from spotting hidden lions lounging under the trees to catching the graceful movements of giraffes at sunset. His patience and deep understanding of the animals and landscape made every moment fascinating. Nothing was too much trouble and he constantly had a cheery disposition. He made this adventure extra special, we highly recommend him!
