Excellent safari company and guide!!
We went as regards a 7 hours of daylight safari in the northern circuit (stayed mostly in public campsites) and had a astonishing era!
We were definitely glad by now Claws of Africa - sociable standards upon the Jeep, the tents and supplementary equipment. Our chef Antons cooking was tempting (we dont eat meat, but he offered a pleasurable variety of tasty vegetarian meals). We were especially happy subsequent to our with Frank, who was understandable, witty and totally gifted in finding the animals and brute at the right spot at the right mature. He taught us a lot not quite the animals and the surroundings, and in addition to very more or less Tanzanian culture in general. Frank was moreover certainly sprightly to our wishes, and adjusted the initiary according to our preferences.
Before the trip, we had email correspondence gone Fatuma, who was doing, professional and fast to response.
Overall, we absolutely inform Claws of Africa!

Perfect Experience
We had a very pleasant stay on Botswana thanks to Emmlyn. We booked a fly in safari journey with different camps in Botswana. The whole journey was a dream and was very good organized. This was especially important during these difficult times. This was our second journey booked with Emmlyn and we can highly recommend her skills and profesionality.

The perfect Safari
We have done a 6 days safari with Suricata Safari from Arusha to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Suricata Safari is operated by young locals from Arusha and is therefore way more dedicated and personal than most of the other commercial providers. Communication and transfer from airport and lodges was great, the team is very reliable. Especially the Baobab Lodge in Serengeti is to recommendable. Other than most of the other operators we have been served with fresh cooked meals during lunch time, definitely a plus! Our guide Vincent was great, knew each and every detail and respond to all our wishes. We have also done some things in the evening together with him in Arusha. All in all a perfect Safari!

Fantastic 3 days safari with Jonathan Maina
We came to Mara Eden safari camp for 3 days with Jonathan as our driver. We had spectacular game drives around the Masai Mara park. We took the morning and eveningsdrives because the activity of the animals is then the biggest. On our first evening game Jonathan took us to beautiful places and we saw a lot of the animals already. We had even a rarely hyena-zebra hunt to chase with the jeep. On the second day we went in the morning to see a lot of baby lions (11) and 6 mothers. When we went back to the camp we saw the father lion hidden in the bush. We had a safe trip, we watched all the animals of the big five and much more. Thanks to him for this fantastic experience !
Thanks Jonathan

Friendly and good organised tour operator.
Two days trip to the selous national park from Sansibar. It was well organised. Always in time. Good guides on boat and jeep safari. The guides had a broad knowledge. Everybody were very friendly and helpful. I was the only guest, so I enjoyed it to the maximum. The price was fair.

Very educational
Part tour guide part professor, Benson was great at quizzing me on what I learned during my time in Africa from what a group of zebras are called ( dazzle ) to how to identify leopards

The best of the best
Summarizing my review below: the best safari company and the coolest thing we’ve ever done.
BOOKING
We found Mazingira using the Safari Booking website. Jacob quickly responded with a suggested itinerary. We worked together to come up with an itinerary that was within our budget and lodges that were at our comfort level.
PAYMENT
Paying for the safari was the only area that I felt uncomfortable with - sending payment via an overseas bank to a foreign company felt risky. However, everything went through and in the end I didn’t have anything to worry about.
SAFARI
A) Guide - Our guide was Leonard (Leo) and we couldn’t recommend him enough. He was always early, had everything ready for us every day and made us feel extremely welcome to his country. He knew every animal and always gave us fun facts about them. He was a safe driver as well and always made us feel safe. One of my favorite parts of our trip was Leo start off the day with a quick summary of what we were about to do and see and where we were headed. He felt like family by the end of the trip. Ask for Leo!
B) Animals - we were lucky to see the big 5, thanks in part of Leo’s experience. If he hadn’t listened to the radio and didn’t have a quick reaction, we would’ve missed the rhino on our last day. Leo knew how to navigate the car close enough to the animals so we could see them clearly and get some great photos.
C) Lodging - each lodge we stayed at offered something unique. The staff at all places we stayed were welcoming and the food, for the most part, was really good. We were on our honeymoon and Jacob had called ahead to the lodges and most had done something special for us (decorated the room, special dessert, welcome gift, etc). Splurge on the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge if you can - the location can’t be beat.
Hands down the best experience of our lives. We highly recommend and if anyone is hesitant, feel free to reach out. I can’t say enough good things about this company, our guide Leo, Jacob or Tanzania.

Knowledgable friendly guide who goes the extra mile
When we were looking for guides for Kilimangjiro, we were looking for an affordable experience with a tour guide who had led many trips. We went up the mountain with Larazo who kept us at a reasonable pace. On the way up, he was able to answer a lot of our questions from local fauna, the swahili language, tanzania, and more. He was friendly and open to chatting when we were curious but also mindful. There were a few occasions where he went the extra mile like helping us carry items, finding an extra hiking pole, letting me borrow his wifi to tether.
I felt very safe and Lazaro told us things to take pre-caution of. We didn't have any communications issues with money and when comparing to other services, I felt that the cost was definitely reasonable compared to other options. If I were to have other friends go on a trip here, I'd definitely refer Lazaro as a guide!

Magical and unmatched thanks to Weru
It was an incredible experience. Absolutely nothing could had been better than how it was. All the places, the hotels and the people were absolutely beautiful and amazing. I would never change anything from our trip, and it would not had been the same with any other guide who wasn’t Weru. He was such an amazing tour guide, he was always smiling, very hard working, grateful, making us keep the interest and such a cultivated person. I would recommend Weru to the max!!
