The Adventure awaits, book now!
5/5

"If you come with a happy attitude you'll have a good time!". Ernest was
our groups fearless Safari leader, 11/10 stars :) - professional, knowledgeable, and an excellent driver maneuvering the land cruiser for a front row seat to all the park's action. We were able to see all the animals on our list and more, some closer than I imagined possible on a Safari. Each day we were able to enjoy well balanced picnic lunches with your choice of beverages my favorite being the Safari beer. The lodges were amazing- comfortable, clean, and scenic with wonderful staff. Truly an adventure of a lifetime.

I also had a chance to go on the Materuni Waterfalls tour with Endrew and Raphael. The lunch provided was the best meals I've had in a long time, topped off with fresh passion fruit and a cup of Arabic coffee made from scratch in a local style. The hike to the waterfall is beautiful with trees and bushes full of chameleons. The hike is not difficult but be prepared for the hike back up to the main area.

Ernest, Bryson, Endrew, Raphael, Baltazary, and the rest of the Safari Soles team curated the perfect adventure for our group.

Quality experience from start to finish
5/5

Everything was taken care from the moment i landed at Kilimanjaro Airport. Upon arriving at the hotel, a staff member went through the safari itinerary and answered every question i had. The safari started on the next day and the next 3 days was just an unforgettable experience. Our guide managed to spot for us all the big 5 and many more wildlife. Upon arriving back in Arusha, they took care of us for one more night before dropping us at the airport the next day. Would highly recommend Suricata.

An Extraordinary Safari Adventure: Nature's Masterpiece Unveiled
5/5

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a safari trip that I can only describe as a true masterpiece of nature. From the moment I set foot in the African wilderness to the final awe-inspiring moments, every aspect of the journey exceeded my expectations, leaving an indelible mark on my soul. The experience was nothing short of excellent, and I cannot recommend it enough to anyone seeking a profound connection with nature.

The trip began with a warm welcome from the knowledgeable and friendly guides who shared their deep passion and expertise for the wildlife and environment. Their dedication to preserving and conserving this majestic land was evident in their every word and action, making the entire expedition feel not just like a vacation but a meaningful and impactful adventure.

As we ventured into the heart of the wild, it felt as though we had entered a realm untouched by time. The sheer diversity of flora and fauna was staggering, with each turn revealing a new species or breathtaking landscape. From the majestic herds of elephants roaming freely to the graceful movements of lions in their natural habitat, I was privileged to witness some of the world's most iconic wildlife in their true element.

The safari game drives were expertly organized, striking a perfect balance between exploration and relaxation. The knowledgeable guides effortlessly navigated the vast terrain, unveiling hidden gems and ensuring that no detail went unnoticed. Their deep understanding of animal behavior and local ecosystems made every encounter rich with knowledge, transforming the experience into an immersive and educational journey.

The accommodation provided during the safari was exceptional, blending seamlessly with the surrounding environment. Each lodge and camp was carefully designed to offer comfort without compromising the authentic bush experience. Falling asleep to the distant sounds of wildlife and waking up to breathtaking sunrises painted a picture of tranquility that is difficult to find elsewhere.

Mealtimes were a delightful affair, showcasing the flavors of the region while providing a chance to reflect on the day's adventures. The expertly prepared meals, often accompanied by stories from the guides, created an intimate and convivial atmosphere, fostering connections with fellow travelers from around the world.

What truly made this safari trip extraordinary was the profound sense of connection and appreciation it instilled within me. Witnessing the raw beauty of nature in its unfiltered state reminded me of our responsibility as stewards of the Earth. The safari experience left an indelible impression, igniting a passion for conservation and a renewed commitment to preserving these awe-inspiring landscapes for future generations.

In conclusion, my safari adventure was nothing short of exceptional. From the knowledgeable guides to the breathtaking wildlife encounters, every aspect was thoughtfully curated to provide an unforgettable journey through nature's masterpiece. If you yearn for an immersive experience that combines adventure, education, and a deep connection with the natural world, I wholeheartedly recommend embarking on a safari trip. It is an experience that will leave you forever changed, with memories that will last a lifetime.

Absolutely amazing exceeded my expectations.
5/5

Amazing! Our group of 7 did a 4 day 3 night safari visting Ngorogoro, the Serengeti and Tarangeri. We saw everything there was to possibly see on safari, it was a once in a life time experience.
Salim was a great help in organising and customising our safari. He was able to advise us what would be best and helped put together a truely great experience.
The food was very tasty, we absolutely loved the food. It was an authentic taste of Tanzanian food, hats off to our different chefs on the trip.
Lastly our driver Innocent he gave us the best experience of our lives. His driving ability was one of the best ive ever seen, he insured our comfort, while getting us close to the animals. He was extremely knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him to anybody looking for a safari driver.
We Will definetly be recommending Zamunda tours to anyone travelling to Tanzania. Thank you all.

Extremely Responsive and Flexible
5/5

I was a pleasure interacting with Fransiscah to plan our safari trip. She understood what we needed and planned the trip for us accordingly. We really enjoyed the entire trip through Grongroro and Serengeti. I got the best deal from Mellivora along with flexibility in the plan.

Reliable, efficient and dependable. I
5/5

I made an enquiry via WhatsApp. They responded within an hour and had a quote ready for me in minutes. Their estimated time of arrival is very accurate, even arrived at the airport much earlier than they estimated. They keep you updated on when the driver will for pick up and the shuttle leaves on the time stated. The driver was very kind and friendly, he kept checking if everyone was alright and his driving was acceptable that at no point did I fear for my life. It was a comfortable drive.

5 stars all round
5/5

Myself and my brother under took the 5 day mid-range accommodation safari in the middle of June 2023. We chose this tour company after getting quotes from several different companies because of the price and the excellent reviews we could see on trip advisor. The tour did not let us down, it was excellent in all departments and if any friends or family were to consider a safari trip in the future I would certainly recommend this company to them. I have written a detailed review below but I’m summary there is very little which could be improved here.

Before Safari
Booking was a simple process with a few emails quickly answered prior to deposit being paid and then speedy responses via WhatsApp to any further questions on the run up to the trip. On arrival into Tanzania we were picked up from the airport in a comfortable car and driven to the hotel we were staying at before starting the safari. From there we were picked up in the jeep for safari and enjoyed the trip, at the end being driven back to Arusha and then on to Moshi (our next destination) via private car for no extra charge.

Our Safari
Our safari took us on Day 1 to Tarangire National Park, Day 2 Lake Manyara National Park, Day 3 the long drive to the Serengeti with sights along the way and a game drive in the evening, Day 4 Serengeti, Day 5 Ngorogoro and travel back to Arusha

Accommodation
The first night ‘Day 0’ is spent in a basic but comfortable hotel in Arusha, mainly used as a starting point for the trip. The next two nights were spent in a Suricata Lodge near lake Manyara which I would describe as a 5 star resort - it was an incredible new building (private to this company) with clean air rooms, fresh ground coffee in the rooms, pool side dining, an excellent dinner and breakfast menu and stunning views of the stairs at night and hippos in the lake (from a distance) in the evenings. Staff were extremely helpful, taught us some Swahili and greeted us with a glass of juice and fresh warm towel to wipe the dust from our faces at the end of a long day of safari. I can’t overstate how nice this accommodation was, I was blown away.

The next two nights were spent in the Serengeti and Ngorogoro parks. This accommodation was understandably less extravagant but still extremely comfortable, with comfortable beds, hot showers, privates rooms and decking to relax after a long day wildlife spotting, excellent dinners and extremely welcoming staff.

The other guests in our car were camping and also had a great time - staying in tents with sleeping bags and mats, communal showers and dining areas. I think both are excellent options with this tour company, the difference being the private toilets/hot showers (vs communal toilets and showers with cold water), having a private room with sofa etc to chill out in the evening and ala carte menu for dinner and breakfast vs a buffet style serving of food.

Guide
Our guide was Rocky - he picked us up from Arusha and was with us until the end of our tour. For us he was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Tanzania. Clearly extremely knowledgeable and able to answer any and all questions about the wildlife - no matter how obscure (we managed to ask one question he didn’t know the answer to over 5 days but by the next morning he had a detailed answer for us), but the most striking feature was how energetic he was, and clearly loves what he does, with that love for animal spotting radiating from him. At one point we saw a bird he hadn’t seen before and and he was excited beyond belief, it was a joy to be around him and he made our five days hugely enjoyable.

Food
As noted above each evening was an impressive menu of well cooked food, evening in the heart of the parks. Lunch was equally enjoyable, with a chef preparing chicken/beef stew with rice/potatoes/pasta and fresh vegetables each day - enjoyed at a picnic area in the parks. None of us had dietary requirements but we were asked before the tour in a way which would suggest these could be catered for.

Wildlife
The wildlife I think is one thing that must vary by chance quite a lot from tour to tour, but Rocky seemed to have an incredibly ability to identify where the animals were likely to be, often arriving as the first car to particular areas of interest. We saw every animal you could wish to see, up close and mostly on multiple occasions, with excellent information provided about all of them
