They care about everything, help in and situation
We did a 9 days self-drive-tour in the northern part of Tantania.
Our experience with Tecomate began with the pickup at the Kilimanjaro-Airport and the first night in Arusha.
There was our Toyota Landcruiser parked, the next morning Godfrey, one of the owners of Tecomate, arrived and gave us the keys. Godfrey guided us to Arusha center, organized a SIM-Card and made sure that we stay connected via WhatsApp.
During our tour in the rough roads in and outside the parks we had small problems with the electricity of the car. Godfrey answered within minutes and organized a mechanic at our next lodge. The car was repaired during we had dinner.
We also got lost two times on the way to our lodges, google-maps didn't know the route.
Godfrey and Gabriel assisted via WhatsApp and we made it without problems.
Between retourning the car and our transfer to the airport Godfrey and Gabriel visited us in our last lodge in Moshi.
We chatted with them and were glad that they offer more than Safari, they also care for activities with local people.
Our resumee:
- Our next trip to Tanzania will not only be the classic safari, Godfrey has a lot more offers
- We will book directly with Tecomate
- Gabriel will be our guide and driver
Thank you and all the best for you, your families and your business.
Regards
Anna & Markus

Amazing!
This was my first time traveling solo. I chose to come to Kenya for a tour of the Maasai Mara with Savannah Woods Safari. The company was wonderful at keeping in touch with me both before my arrival and checking that all was well during my adventure. Alex was my guide and I cannot say enough to complement his kindness, professionalism, knowledge and dedication to being on Safari with me! He was always punctual (even when I was not) with a clean touring van, filled with bottled water, ready to go. Every day I knew clearly what the agenda was for that day and the next. He was always inquiring as to what my expectations were and what I wanted to see or do, when I wanted to eat, get up, needed a washroom, etc. He clearly knew the other Safari drivers and they all worked together to ensure we saw a huge number of animals and birds. I always felt safe and loved just talking with him in the van. I am such an introvert, I dreaded that the most, but talking with him and spending time was so much fun I looked forward to it!! Don’t Hesitate to Book!

Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and committed to providing the best for us.
We booked onto a 3 day safari in Selous Game Reserve which consisted of a full day game drive on day 1; a bush walk with local Masai and herbalist doctor, a local village tour with a local guide and a sunset river Safari on day 2; and a Masai village visit where we learnt about the village life and were able to join in some the activities on day 3. All of our drivers were very punctual and friendly and our guides were fantastic! So many brilliant stories from their lives here in Tanzania and facts about the different elements of life and nature here. Our accommodation was good. There had been an issue with our room before we arrived which rendered it out of action but they put us into another room which had been newly built and was clean, had a ceiling fan and good amenities including a constant supply of bottled water. As it was newly built there were a few teething problems but the staff were very quick to put anything right. The accommodation had a clean pool and food was good and plentiful.
Game drive day 1: Our guide Mr Martino was absolutely brilliant! He made us feel at ease the whole time and made sure we always had a good supply of water and there were bottles of soda too to drink. His knowledge on the animals was excellent and there weren’t any questions he wasn’t able to answer. The way the driver and Mr Martino found the animals in the vast park was incredibly impressive and we saw so many of the animals, up close and the whole experience is one we will remember forever.
Day 2: All guides on this day were brilliant. And we enjoyed each of the parts for different reasons. Our highlight was the river Safari where we got to enjoy sunset on the beach of the river, watching the hippos bathing and playing.
Day 3: the Masai visit was truly brilliant. The chief of the village took us around and immersed us into the village life for a few hours.
Overall, a visit we’ll never forget. Thank you so much!

Great staff and Great experience!!
I had a group of 11 friends and family.
We had a great time with Viva in Kruger NP.
We saw all of the Big 5 plus many others.
The staff was extremely nice, and we even made some new friends. Patti is the best to work with, setting up the trip? We loved the whole experience, and this will not be our last visit!!

Very supportive and always responsive
It was a very well organized trip for us. Thanks to Hyrax, we had absolutely no trouble in any bookings or payments. Irene especially makes a good agent for any queries at any time during the entire day.
Also, the safari was very well organized by a good guide who knew about the animals and also the best areas for spotting.

Perfect tour
We spent 3 great days in Selous in the middle of our 10 days Zanzibar vacation. Everything was perfectly arranged by Shammah Wonders team starting from our hotel in Zanzibar, adventurous flights to and from Selous, game drives with the best safari guide Eli, comfortable stay in Kinga Lodge. Thank you for all, hope to be back soon.

Highly recommend this tour group and can't wait for our next adventure together!
I had a wonderful time with Worthwhile Africa Safaris touring Murchison Falls on my last visit to Uganda. The tour included everything: transport to and from my hotel in Fort Portal, overnight accommodation with meals, a boat ride & walking tour of the falls, plus a safari ride. Reasonable prices, great tour, an absolutely "Worthwhile" experience for sure! Where are we going next? Can't wait to return to Uganda!

superb, everything is good
Personally recommended by the IELTS teacher: The price of this hotel is reasonable, the speed of replying to emails is also fast, and the hotel given is also relatively good. Our guide Allen has first-class driving skills and is full of thoughtful details: he compared the parking of other vehicles, the only thing that made it easier for us to store our luggage, and specially radioed other drivers to take pictures of us when watching cheetahs

Best Travel Experience Ever!
Giltedge and Nikki Theron helped us navigate years of Covid delays to provide us with an amazing two week stay. The accommodations and food were excellent. The food was probably too good! We loved every guide and every tour and safari drive. We met so many kind and patient people on this trip. Transfers were flawless and Nikki kept in touch throughout the entire trip.
I can't recommend Giltedge and Nikki highly enough!
