Everything was perfect!
We did the 1-day safari from Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park. We were picked up by the driver in the morning, flew to the national park and returned in the afternoon. The organisation was flawless and we have no suggestions for improvement. Our driver was very nice and explained a lot to us, he was also motivated and found many animals. It was a unique experience and the nature is breathtaking! The safari is highly recommended and we will never forget this day!

Best experience!
Me and my mum were on the 4 days safari, and the wohle experience was just amazing!
Suricata has outsteped all our expectations… everything was perfectly organised from the Airport to the Arusha accomodation and even to the next destination. Also the booking and communication was highly professional. The day before we got a brefing, every transport was on time, and everyone was talking really good english which made it really easy.
Mandela our guide was the best!!! (Although i belive all guides are great) But he had such amazing knowledge, was fluent in English, a great driver (which is important with hard road conditions sometimes) and furthermore such a kind and lovely person. He was taking real good care of all our wishes, whenever we wanted to take more time to watch some animals it was not a problem at all.
Our chef Mussa was also amazing, the food was always fresh and delicioud and also a lot. He took such great care of my vegan diet and it was not a problem at all!
The safari itself was also really special, Mandela was so good in spotting animals. We were really lucky and got to see all big 5, but even if that wouldn‘t have worked out it would have still been unforgettable.
The safaris on each day are also quite long so you have plenty of time and don‘t have to rush. Sometimes it was just nice watching the animals for sometime.
Everything is looked after, from putting up the tents to setting up the food. It‘s a full service. Our group was also amazing, getting to meet people from all over the world and connecting for a few days in the middle of nowhere is also an unforgettable experience.
Furthermore I have to say, all the restrooms on the way and also on the campgrounds were really well looked after and clean.
Be aware, November is the start of the small rain season, so camping gets a little harder but was still an amazing experience. The tents lasted in monsoon rain. And if anything did get wet, like sleepingbag, you could just get a different one. Still during the day it was mostly dry, rain only came in the evenings and at night time… but it is weather, you can never predict. The plus part about this season, the animals seem to be a lot more active if it is not just hot and sunshine and the scenary is great for taking pictures.
We would always book with suricata again and have nothing to complain about.

Service, adventure and Polite. We have no complains, it was just awesome.
The safari was absolutely amazing. We saw everything there was to see. Our guide, Mandela, was incredible, expertly scouting and explaining everything while being consistently kind and polite. He quickly spotted animals that we could only see through binoculars.

It was the greatest expierince
We saw the big five in one day in serengeti between 6am and 12am.
Our guide Mandela did a great job, he spotet animals like a hawk.

Calm, decisive, leader, real overlander.
The tour is in a beautiful area of the Kruger Park. It will improve, deeper into the rain season. Touring next to the river, is a privilege.
I prefer "wild camping" and it is exactly that. Making camp and breaking up again is part of the experience and relaxing.
Planning your own menu and food, is part of the challenge.
We did not persè saw many animals, but is part of the risk, like going fishing. Next time you may be lucky.
I will definitely try another similar tour. We had an excellent tour guide and it makes the experience even more memorable.

Excellent, well organised and professional of guiding.
Amazing safari, many animals and interesting plants were shown. I learned a lot about biology and life of Massai Mara animals. Everything was prefect. We spent three beautiful days on safari enjoying the good food and nice accommodation.

Our trip in Botswana would not have been the same without the incredible service that Lucky and TT provided us. We were self-driving, and initially had only booked guiding services for the first few days of our trip. However, we decided to prolong and rebook our guide TT for the remainder of the trip because of how great he was and how rich the experience with him was. After going for an average game drive with a lodge, we realized that we wanted TT back! From helping us with campsite bookings, to spotting the most elusive animals, we felt so well looked after by this team. There is nothing more we could have asked for. TT's knowledge and life experience in the region is priceless, as is his sense of humor and caring nature. The team was extremely easy to communicate with before the trip, and made sure everyone was on the same page and everything was accounted for. We were sad to leave Botswana, but even sadder to leave our new friends! You will not regret hiring this team for your safari.

Superb client-tailored itinerary
When we decided to visit Namibia, we did not know where to start to create our itinerary. You can find a lot of pre-made itineraries on the web, and they always cover the same tourist places. Not many agencies are open to changing their itineraries. African Wanderer Tours + Safari, instead, was great. We have been in contact the whole time with Hanneke, who is nice and patient; she provides you with a lot of details and gives you a lot of suggestions. She created the perfect itinerary for us after we provided her with all the info about the places we wanted to visit. She carefully listened to our requests, and we even chose some places we stayed during our vacation. She cares about all the details and wants everything to be perfect. Also, during our vacation, she was always ready to reply to our emails, and she provided us with many suggestions about activities to do, roads to take, and places to visit. And she also organised a wonderful birthday dinner on our last day in Namibia. I cannot recommend more her travel agency if you are a traveller who wants to visit Namibia at his/her own pace.
