Amazing sights, accommadations, and experiences
Amazing Memories Safaris designed a two week trip including 8 parks and 2 countries. In Kenya, our guide/driver Daniel found us some incredible sights like a Cheetah walking down the road, elephants crossing the river, lioness nursing three kittens (fourth hiding in grass), a leopard marking his territory, a cheetah mom with older kittens, a lion having breakfast, a jackal catching a bird, hyenas, zebras, rhinos, hippos fighting, wildebeest fighting, giraffes necking, and so much more. In Tanzania, Icamba found us the incredible sight of a lioness trying to drag a half-eaten water buffalo from the edge of a pond while four cubs “helped” by eating/riding the water buffalo with a fifth eating on the side. We laughed so hard at the lioness’s struggle to drag the carcass and her disdain of the water, the cubs growling at each other and their precarious perch on top the buffalo, and the cubs crawling all over each other on their precarious perch. Icamba found a cheetah family and we got to see the kittens warm greeting when mom returned. The baby jackals playing while waiting for mom were adorable. With over 2500 pictures and memories, it was definitely a trip to always remember.
Such wonderful memories like picnicking in Maasai Mara under an acacia tree, bird watching on Lake Naivasha, a balloon ride over Maasai Mara, a hike to see the hippos along the Mara River, the Rhino Encounter at Ol Pejeta, the numerous prides of lions, the week old baby elephant whose mom had to pick him up when he fell, the cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, the large herds of wildebeest and zebras, and just the hillsides covered with mixed herds of wildebeest, gazelles, ostriches, zebras, elephants, and other animals.
Of course, the tents/cabins at all the hotels were superb. We were amazed and pleased with our tent at Samburu the first day, yet the tents/cabins kept getting more impressive. We especially loved Ol Pejeta and the Ngorogoro Crater accommodations, just WOW!
The scenery, the people, and the animals made the trip so special. Because of Amazing Memories Safaris attention to details, I was able to concentrate on our African adventure and not worry about driving, accommodations, or anything else. Thank you Anne in the office for your hours of work getting all the details planned, finding the best accommodations, drivers/guides, helping us choose the best itinerary for us, and for you advice/help.

Our heroes!
We’d originally booked with another company for our safari in August— huge mistake as they canceled on us less than 2 weeks from the start of our trip.
After frantically trying to reschedule our safari, Antony and Tazama came to the rescue! Prices are fair and Antony was very responsive, working with camps to try and find availability in peak season at such short notice. Upon arrival, Antony met with us personally to help ensure we felt comfortable with our itinerary.
Our Kenya guide Tom was phenomenal— we can’t say enough! He was always on the lookout for unique opportunities and provided us with so many great views and experiences. Other guests at camps were jealous of all we saw.

Trip of a lifetime
Whilst our trip was organised with Rob in the UK we were looked after by Maasai Wanderings whilst in Tanzania. Our guides, Barak and Henry were fantastic, how Baraka spotted some of the animals is beyond me. Both were extremely knowledgable and were a major part of making the holiday a success.
The teams in all the locations were fantastic, friendly and helpful, the meals (both hot and packed lunches) were tasty and plentiful.
An extremely positive experience and I would heartily recommend Maasai Wonderings to anyone.

Amazing experience with Lucas
We were a group of 6 people.We went to Tarangire park, Ngorongoro park and Manyara Lake. Everything was very nice. The guide Lucas is very passionate about animals so he taught us many interesting things about them. I would totally recommend it!

Holiday in Uganda for 10 days The best from Uganda
Our guide Paul spok excellent german. He and our Driver Africano looked after us very well. We learned a lot about the Country and the People.The Service was excellent, the Lodges were clean and nice. We were thrilled by the Beauty of the landscape. Very green and a lot of water.
A Special experience was the trekking to the mountain Gorillas. Experiencing the animals up closewill be remenbered forever.
The Support by Speke Uganda we can only recommend.

Fantastic Trip
What a fantastic trip! Everything exceeded our expectations.
A group of us from Vancouver worked with Rob to build a Safari in Tanzania. Rob was very patient and worked to understand our wish list and to put together a schedule for the trip. The execution was as good as the planning, the two tended lodges with a plantation hotel in the middle was the perfect mix.
The Safari guides (Baraka & Henry) were great and extremely knowledgeable, between them we managed to see all the animals and events we had hoped to, two Rhinos, lion cubs, a kill, Cheetahs, Leopard, wilderbeast crossing and so many more.
I can't say enough about how great the teams were in all the locations we stayed, they were all very friendly and could not do enough to help us. The food was good and the packed lunches we more than we needed.
Thanks to Rob and all the people in Tanzania that helped make this such a memorable and happy trip.
