Safari experience in mid-range package
We enjoyed Serengeti and Tarangire national parks a lot. Each of them has a different character. Tarangire is nicely shaped by the river. You don't need to drive long distances to see wild animals. Serengeti is impressive by the endless plains and classic safari experience. But it tends to be overcrowded at some places. Also you need to survive the dusty transfer from NCA to Serengeti on bumpy road (2 hours each way). Ngorongoro wildlife has left us behind our expectations but maybe we weren't lucky enough. The crater landscape is breathtaking. Be prepared on cold weather in the morning (below 10 degrees Celsius). Our driver Jackson has done a good job, especially when tracking the wildebeest migration. We were sharing the car with four other travellers which was fine and caused no limitations to us. The only concern was that they had different accommodations. It caused extra miles driven every morning and evening on transfers which was a little bit annoying. The accomodation in Serengeti Mawe tented camp was excellent and is well worth it. The communication with the tour operator was fluent and friendly. Online payment of reservation fee would be welcome instead of bank transfer which can't be insured. We can recommend Kili Slope especially for good value for money of our mid-range safari package.

I love zebras
the safari is preserved in very good shape. everybody respect the nature. weather was good during our visit. everything is good, except for the taxi drivers, who always deceive travelers for extra money, which is a big turn off.

Amazing nature and wildlife
My Tanzania trip was amazing! First I did a safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater with loads of wildlife right next to the jeep.
Afterwards I did the Kilimanjaro Trek all the way to the summit! A really big challenge, but so much worth it! The scenery on the way to the top was breathtaking!
The people are nice and friendly and they really want to teach you the Swahili language, which I thought was great! Arusha was a little too much for me with street sellers etc. I liked Moshi better, and in Moshi you also have that stunning view of the beautiful Kilimanjaro!

We went to Mikumi and loved it.
Tanzania is a great destination. Yet, travelling is very slow and accomodation and safaris are expensive.
But it is a true african experience and the Country has to offer a lot. I have to come back soon.

Tanzania’s southern parks at the end of the rainy season
I had been already twice in Tanzania but never visited the southern NP. Great experience, very few people, nice scenarios and a green landscape since we were there just when the rainy season was ending.

Amazing experience
We did a wondeful holiday with this company, thoughtful and well organized. The reservation of the safari was very easy with Martha.
The team has been careful from the moment we landed at Kilimanjaro Airport. Always helpful and flexible.
We enjoyed 5 marvellous safari days with Franky (the best guide in Tanzania - eagle's eyes :))
Also the accomodation they chose were fantastic with a wonderful view and service!
A unique experience - with a team that pampers you in the middle of a wonderful nature!
Ahsante sana!!!

Close encounters with wild and very relaxed animals
If you want to see wildlife and get really close to elephants, buffaloes, lions, hippos, hyenas and several more species of mammals and birds - come to Tanzania! We visited Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro on our four day itinerary with a six person jeep and basic accomodation.
Our guide and driver Godlove was excellent, spotting and explaining a plethora of animals - most impressive for me was his ability to name ALL the many birds very precisely. Our cook Marley created new and tasty four course menues every day and managed to satisfy the wishes of the meat lovers in our group AND of us vegetarians.
It was merely amazing how close you can get to all the animals and how relaxedly most of them watch you back (apart from most of the birds and zebras who would always get a few metres inbetween them and us).
If you come from central Europe and are used to fixed treaties - you will maybe feel more satisfied with your trip if you let some expectations more loose.. We recommend to take a tour operator from Tanzania. We had one from Kenya with a bureau in Arusha. The reasons for booking that special tour were some promises that the bureau in Arusha was not wanting to hold: a visit to Olduvai Gorge was to be included (already paid), two nights in Serengeti were in the description, game drive in Ngorongoro should have lasted till the afternoon - none of this was happening. Adding to the disappointment was that the bureau in Arusha didn't pay for the Lake Manyara camping site through the weeks before we went so at the camp site they won't let us leave on the next morning until payment was assured - making up to a delay of two hours before we started the journey to Serengeti, when we had expected to start with an early morning game drive there. It took a few nerves and some e-mails untill we got a fair refund for the promises not held.
If you are relaxed about basic accomodation I really recommend you book a camping safari - it's so beautiful to wake up to footsteps outside (an elephant in our case) and "talking" hyenas (who will raid the dustbins). And you better get an excellent driver like Mr. Msemo who "rides" the dirt roads like nothing.
If you want to get in touch with your own wild nature - come to Tanzania!

Amazing experience!
Great variety of wildlife, beautiful scenery, great weather. Accommodations were average, East Africa tends to be less westernized. Food quality varied but was generally decent. Our guides were not as knowledgable as we would have liked but probably would have been fine for people with less questions about animal behavior, etc. Serengeti is incredible, Ngorongoro Crater is amazing as well. Tarangire is great for elephant lovers. Lake Manyara was a bit disappointing compared to the other parks.
