Tanzania has several national parks for safari and these parks have different sceneries. Thus you can observe the animals in different sceneries like near the lake, on the rocks or in the bushes. People are very friendly and hospitable and they make you feel safe all the time. Overall, my safari in Tanzania was amazing experience.

We went on Safari with Goldfinch Adventures and had a very experience guide by the name Lozaro. We visited Tanzania specifically to experience the Great Migration and we weren't disappointed. The only disappointing thing was all the other safari vehicles around. It seemed like there were literally over 100 and some were driving very erratically.
We saw all the wildlife we wanted to see and more! We visited a Masai village which was interesting, but I'm not sure if I would recommend it. I loved Ngorongoro Crater, again there were a lot of vehicles there. We saw lions and a lioness close up, like literally less than 1 metre away. We saw a hyena running by with a bone in its mouth. I found it simply amazing.
We visited Tarangire National Park which was a smaller park, again with so many vehicles. We stayed at Heart & Soul Lodge Manyara which was fabulous and I would highly recommend.
We had lovely hampers for our picnic lunch each

day accompanied by a lovely glass of wine. I'm vegetarian, but I was adequately catered for.
My recommendation is if you can find less travelled parks would be a major plus, but I seriously can't complain about our experience with Lozaro and Brenda with Goldfinch Adventures and it didn't break the budget.

very nice people, and very nice place for Safari.
We were traveling with Kojuu Safari, and that was better than great.
We have 17 days in Tanzania, and we would love to come back in the future.

I and my family had a great safari experience in Tanzania this summer! We drove for more than 1,000 Km from Kilimanjaro to North Serengeti visiting Tarangire Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Park and Serengeti. Our driver Festo was a great guide across the whole journey. We encountered lots of wildlife, enjoyed every moment if the trip even if the roads at times were not that comfortable. We changed accommodation almost every night, the lodges were very nice (maybe only one was a bit basic) and enjoyed the food and the local beer. We were probably not expecting the cold night in Ngorongoro with the temperature dropping to 8 degrees! Overall I magnificent experience. Special thanks to African Big Cats Safaris for the excellent organization of our journey

We weren’t sure which country in Africa to visit for our first safari. Tanzania has a large variety of national parks and conservation areas and we saw an incredible amount of animals. The country is safe and stable and the people are welcoming and friendly.

We did a 4 day safari that was planned last minute. Safari.com did a great job of organizing the trip. We flew into Kilimanjaro and immediately hopped in the vehicle and headed to Tarangire. We spent the night in Karatu and the next morning drove through Ngororo to get to Serengeti. It was a very long drive, but we really wanted to get to Serengeti and only had a few days. We saw an awesome pride of 16 lions hanging out on a rock, which was super cool. The third day we drove around central Serengeti and then back near the crater for an early morning decent into the crater. All 3 parks were pretty interesting. Our favorite was Serengeti - which has vast open plains. We could not have had a better tour guide, Stanley. He was very knowledgeable and did everything he could to ensure that we had a great trip. I highly recommend him!
The people in Tanzania are among the kindest, most friendly people on the planet. I love spending time in Tanzania!
