I have also been Kruger National Park in South Africa in 2005, and our Tanzania guide kept saying that Tanzania is even better for viewing and photographing wildlife, and at the end of our trip I had to agree with him. Kruger is great place, but the Serengeti ecosystem is even more spectacular.

Tanzanian safaris are well-organised catering for all the tastes. We visited Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangeri and Ruaha. Each of them has special characteristic with quite unique flora and fauna.

Tanzania is wild and well organized for safaris. The lodges deliver good service and the safaris tour. It's quite more expensive than Kenya though, but it worths!

We enjoyed both Kenya and Tanzania. Of the 2, Tanzania seemed a bit more friendly and safe, but by the same token, there were fewer people in the Kenyan parks. As well, in January/February, Tanzania was not as dry as Kenya.

I truly enjoyed all the time I spent in Tanzania. The people are very friendly. While the roads are rough it is worth the time and money spent.

This was our second visit in Africa,my wife and i visited Kenya in 2009 during which visit we had a short 2 day safari at Masai Mara..and then on to the beaches around Mombasa.
This past january we booked a 5 day safari in Tanzania so that we could experience a proper full blown safari experience. We managed to see plenty of wildlife including the big 5 though some animals were harder to spot and not as abundant as others.
The weather was pleasant and comfortable ,accommodation was very good ..we stayed in a tented lodge,a proper small hotel and a tented camp.Once we got to know our guide/driver and him us we got on very well with him and took his time answering all our questions.
All in all it was a wonderful experience and we are already planning another visit, this time to see the mountain gorillas.

Our Tanzanian safari was an amazing experience that we will never forget. The differences in each of the major game parks is amazing and, especially in the Serengeti, you may not see another car for very long periods of time! We saw all of the big 5 and many more. If you are a photographer then you will get some fantastic close encounters! Also bare in mind that you can pay less depending on what level of luxury you require. We camped in all of the parks and really enjoyed it!
