Our Tanzanian safari with the company Safari Soles was better than we could imagine. We visited the Tarangire NP Southern Serengeti NP and the Ngorongoro crater. The wildlife in al parks was stunning and we had little difficulty ticking off the big 5 and so much more.
Whilst in Tanzania we found the people to be kind and helpful at all times.
I would highly recommend Tanzania as a Safari gem and our tour company Safari Soles with Simon our excellent guide knew how to promote Tanzania to its best. Thank you.

Tanzania is a magical country which should be on everyone's bucket list.

For many years we had dreamed of a safari trip and when we finally booked an 11 day holiday in Tanzania we were not disappointed.
The country is beautiful with incredible scenery and wildlife. Each day we were overwhelmed with the variety of animals and birdlife, and the guides were so knowledgeable. There is no rivalry between the companies, they all want the best experience for their guests and communicate via radios when one of the Big Five is spotted! We stayed at stunning lodges during our trip and the warmth and professionalism of the staff were way beyond many 5 star hotels in other parts of the world. To ensure your safety you are walked from and back to your lodge when dark which reminds you that there are wild animals around. When you open your blinds in the morning and discover a male baboon sitting on your veranda you know that this is not the run of the mill holiday!
We booked with Kojuu Safaris who arranged an amazing trip for us. Our guide Peter was outstanding and we will never forget his kindness and commitment to ensuring that we had a truly unforgettable safari.

Excellent 6 days private safari and Zanzibar trip
Overall rating
5/5

We booked a private safari with this company and Sada our travel contact was amazing at helping us plan the whole trip including 6 days safari visiting Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro, ending with 3 nights in Zanzibar. The whole experience was amazing. From the lodges where we stayed, to the food, to the service we were taking care of magnificently. You must consider that this is a developing country and every thing we received is extremely luxurious here. Plus if you are in a safari you are living in luxurious tents, but they are tents, no tv, slow WiFi, no phone service, you are in the wilderness. We loved how this company had things planned and the service we received was excellent.
In Zanzibar we stayed in their newest resort Dream of Zanzibar and it was excellent.
I highly recommend this company for your private vacation in Tanzania

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tanzania, and it was an experience I’ll never forget. From the breathtaking landscapes to the warm and welcoming locals, every moment was extraordinary.

The highlight of my trip was exploring the national parks, especially Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Witnessing the Great Migration in the Serengeti was surreal—thousands of wildebeests and zebras moving across the plains, with predators lurking nearby. The safari guides were knowledgeable and ensured we had the best chance to spot the Big Five.

Mount Kilimanjaro stood majestically in the distance, and though I didn’t attempt the climb this time, just seeing it was inspiring. The beaches in Zanzibar offered a perfect contrast with their white sands and turquoise waters—ideal for unwinding after the adventure-filled safaris. We swam with wild dolphins and got to explore the beautiful coral embedded with thousands of marine life.

The local culture was another highlight. Visiting Maasai villages and learning about their traditions and way of life was both humbling and enriching. The people of Tanzania were incredibly friendly, always greeting us with a smile.

The weather was warm and pleasant in most regions, making it easy to explore. As for safety, I felt secure throughout my journey. Following local advice and using reputable guides made all the difference.

If you’re a nature enthusiast or someone seeking a mix of adventure and culture, Tanzania should be at the top of your list. I can’t wait to return someday!

I went with Zanzi Trekking and Safaris on a 3 weeks holiday. Kilimanjaro was a great adventure with amazing nature and very cool places. The safari in Serengeti is like a movie. So much animals. Nogorocrater is a very cool place also. Zanzibar is a nice island. But i prefer the safari and mountain. But beaches are of course also very nice.

We ordered a 4-day safari from Meru slopes Tours & Safaris, joint tour. It was a great experiences for us (a couple 60+). Everything was well organized. Even staying overnight in a tent. The scenery was great. We saw a lot of animals, even had luck and saw the big five. The guides were very good, they found and pointed us animals and could tell about them and about the culture. It was nice that the jeep was full and we learned to know several people. We give high value to the way how the guides took care of the nature and followed the rules. Tourism protects the rights of the wild animals (I think that otherwise people would have destroyed them).

We took part also to other tours, where we met local people, make coffee, enjoy the nature and visit rural areas. Very interesting and relaxing trip, so much to see. I would like to go again.

I want to finish with the powerful words of one guide who said about this: we do not have much money, but we have peace. We love peace.

**Safari Review: 7-Day Drive Safari in Tanzania**

Our 7-day safari in Tanzania was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we set off, we were immersed in the breathtaking landscapes of the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire, and Lake Manyara. Every day was a new adventure, filled with incredible wildlife sightings and stunning scenery.

Our guide Peter was exceptional—knowledgeable, passionate, a great driver, and always eager to share insights about the animals, ecosystems, and even local culture. Thanks to his expertise, we spotted the Big Five, witnessed a lot of baby animals, and marveled at vast herds of wildebeasts and zebras. His keen eye and deep understanding of animal behavior made each game drive even more exciting.

The accommodations were comfortable and well-situated, offering a chance to unwind after eventful days in the wild. The food was delicious, and the staff at each lodge made us feel truly welcome.

The Ngorongoro Crater left us speechless, with its dramatic landscape and dense wildlife population.

if you wish to visit the Masai boma make sure you make clear your expectations and solve your questions with them before booking the excursion

Overall, this safari exceeded all our expectations. The organization was seamless, the sights were breathtaking, and our guide made the experience even more special. If you’re considering a safari in Tanzania, we highly recommend booking with Migration Venture Africa and ask for Peter—it’s a trip of a lifetime!

Disappointment

Having seen several countries in Africa I was disappointed by what I found in Tanzania. Beautiful landscapes but much more exciting Safaris in other places, all ruined by those who work with tourism and try to squeeze everything they can from tourists. I had a very bad experience with the operators (delays, overcharges, lack of seriousness) and unfortunately this is Tanzania too, you can't ignore this. The sea of Zanzibar is beautiful.
