Truly wonderful and amazing with easy access to abundant and diverse wildlife
The people, culture and wildlife is an amazing experience I recommend.
Unfortunately we had an unethical and neglectful tour operator "All Wheels Experience ' which cause delays and missed experiences we had paid for.

Tanzania is expensive, if you take part on a safari tour, but it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
We went with makini tanzania expeditions. They are really good, you can trust. We made a seven-days tour, what means 6 overnight stays. First and last day were in the arusha area, 5 days were in national parks like tarangire, serengeti (2 days), ngorongoro and lake manyara. The game drives lasted von early morning to sun down, exept the time, that was necessary for transfer. Whe had a perfect guide, saw many animals. The cook pepared a meal, which was kept warm and served at noon in picnic places, really good and enough. The accomodation were first class, in serengeti and ngorongoro typical in tented lodge, which also had ervery comfort. In the car it was a bit narrow and the roads were rough. We travelled end of january, the so called small dry season and had perfect weather. You shouhd bring some dollars in cash for tipps. It is also save, to pay the whole safari in cash ($), because you are picked up at the airport, a driver brings you to the hotel and to makini office. We payed by visa card and had to pay about 100 $ fee, which could have been avoided.

We had a wonderful safari. Stunning views and wildlife. The driver was very friendly and a skilled driver. He often spotted wildlife for us and ensured we got really close to the lions and cheetahs. The locations were beautiful, with views of the Serengeti twice. We usually slept in a lovely, spacious tent with private bathrooms. The food was delicious, always a buffet with plenty of choice.

tanzania is a wonderful and friendly place to visit
I went during the January "short rains" period and had great weather, never got rained on. I went with Shemeji Safari Tanzania on a 10 day private safari, just me, my excellent guide Muktar (highly recommended) and out Land Cruiser. We went to several national parks and saw new and wonderful wildlife and sights each day.

Warm, wonderful and welcoming
What can I say? We were well looked after from start to finish. We were treated well, and kindly. The people were open, friendly and the scenario and safari very special.

An Unforgettable Safari Adventure in Tanzania
The planning of the safari was excellent. Each day felt perfectly balanced — full of adventure but never rushed. The accommodations were also great: comfortable, and located in beautiful natural settings. My personal love is staying in tented camp-lodge Tukaone Serengeti camp surrounded by the African savannah! It made the experience absolutely special! Waking up to the sounds of nature and watching the sunrise and sunset over the plains is something I’ll remember for a long time.
A big part of why this safari was so special was our driver-guide, John. He was fantastic! Not only is he a very skilled driver (which is important on some of the park roads!) If anything unexpected came up, he handled it easily and always found a solution.

an incredible eye for wildlife. Time after time he managed to spot animals that we would have completely missed on our own — lions resting in the tall grass, a leopard hidden in a tree, even rhinos far away in the distance.Thanks to his skills — and a bit of luck — we managed to see the entire Big Five. That alone would have made the trip unforgettable. But we also had fun spotting the famous “Ugly Five”, which made the experience even more unique.
So, if you want to have the safari of your dreams, then with John as your driver you will on heaven!
Each park had its own atmosphere: the massive baobab trees and huge elephant herds in Tarangire, the breathtaking views and dense wildlife in the Ngorongoro Crater, and the endless plains of the Serengeti - my personal crash - filled with animals everywhere you look.
Overall, the safari exceeded our expectations — great organization, comfortable places to stay, incredible wildlife, and a truly excellent guide. We’re very grateful for this experience and would absolutely recommend it to anyone who dreams of seeing Tanzania’s amazing national parks. It was a trip we’ll never forget. 🐘🦁🌅

Better than I expected.
Safari in Tanzania was unforgettable. We visited Serengeti Park and Nogorongoro Crater. Three days in the car, but it was not boring. A lot of animals - especially zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, lions. In Ngoringoro Crater the same only more birds. Our tour operator was at a high level, as in Europe.

Excellent and well organised Safari. Very relaxed tour to Zanzibar and stay in Stonetown.
