Tour was excellent. In Arusha you can visit the African art museum and shop for souvenirs. We saw everything imaginable on our 3 day safari from a lizard a group of mongoose, to rhinos, hippos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, leopards, cheetahs, baboons, monkeys, ostriches, vultures even pink flamingos! The safari was well planned to include meals and where we spent the night! It was great!

Our tour included in order: Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and lake Manyara. Everything was absolutely spectacular. Our highlight was Ngorongoro: the most beautiful landscape of the tour and the best experience overall. Experiencing the sunset in Serengeti is also something worth to see. Lake Manyara is also nice but after the first three settings it feels it is lacking something, although we were told that due to the climate change the lake has expanded and a lot of wildlife is escaping the site by moving to neighbouring Tarangire. All in all we managed to see everything except leopards. A once in a lifetime experience!

We visited Tanzania as a family group on a safari in September 2026. We visited Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Serengeti. We had the most enjoyable and memorable holiday of our lives. The wildlife was plentiful - we saw elephants, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, buffalo, crocodiles, antelope of many types, zebra and thousands of wildebeast, as well as dozens of bird varieties too numerous to mention. The boabab trees in Tarangire were an absolute delight to see also. Our tour company were excellent, and our wonderful tour guide Makundi was professional, engaging and such good company on our whole trip. We stayed in a variety of lodges and camps. Our accommodation was excellent, with en-suite bathrooms in our rooms and mosquito nets on the beds. The food and drinks everywhere were good. If you are thinking of going to Tanzania my advice would be - go ahead and do it now!!
