Our trip was incredible especially our guide, Godlove who was with
safari 360. He was so informative and helpful through out the whole 9 days. We saw so many animals who Godlove always saw first.
The accommodation was excellent and all the staff were super helpful . Tented accommodation was excellent. Loved every minute
of it. Got used to the really rough roads after a few days. But that was to be expected.

Tanzania is captivating. Went to Kilimanjaro and the sunrise at the summit is the must beautiful I have seen. The safaris are magical, you get to see all these wild animals in their hábitat. the beaches in Zanzibar are the cherry on top.

We had a great safari in Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and lake Manyara. We saw loads of wildlife, including the big five and beautiful landscape. People were very nice and our guide and people in lodges made enormous efforts to ensure the best experience possible.

I went with Serengeti African Tours and a got a knowledgeable guide in the form of Francis who made our safari unforgettable. The wildlife in Serengeti was spectacular. Not did we see the big 5, but we saw cheetahs, giraffes, hippos, hyenas, etc in abundance. Our chef Ashraf made fresh local food which was delicious and comforting. It was my first experience tasting African cuisine and suffice to say I wasn't disappointed. After our safari we headed to Zanzibar and the beautiful white sand beaches were just what we needed after an adventurous safari. The clear waters provided excellent snorkelling opportunities. Overall Tanzania is not just a country, it's an experience that everyone should have on their bucketlist.

Along with family and friends we visited the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater, then had a week in Zanzibar at the RIU palace hotel in Nungwi, the whole trip was amazing and the safari was unbelievable. Lucas our driver and guide was the best you could have. Outstanding guide and friend. Thank you Sikujua. Your admin and advice was fantastic.

Tanzania is a beautiful country. People are lovely, we were feeling safe and everyday was an experience. The National Parks were stunning, a relaxed vibe, wildlife and scenery just amazing and lots of great accommodations with such helpful staff. Meru Slopes Tours was awesome. After the safari we relaxed on Zanzibar. Again a different world, with cultural Stone Town, the souk, the slavery exhibition, stunning beaches, great lodges and gardens. We had such a beautiful holiday.

We booked for Zanzibar with 5 days Safari on the mainland (Tanzania). The first thing that we negatively noted was that Zanzibar, outside of the resort, as an Island is very dirty. I was brought up with the saying: If Your poor then at least be clean.
The people of Zanzibar that we met stem mostly from the Mainland Tanzania, they are very friendly, helpful and kind. That is the only really positive point, and in that a very noteworthy one. The organiser of the safari was at all time reachable, kind, efficient and its organisation fine. A light in the dark.
Zanzibar was as dirty as a Garbage dump except the airport and the hotel area. The mainland was far better, but then it has not much to show for.
Then, the different day tours where expensive for what was given, mostly not worth to participate. A 1-day safari to the main land will cover all the tours with exception of the swimming with the turtles.
If You go to Stonetown, don’t expect anything and even then,

you will be disappointed!
Serengeti, the high grail of a national parks is very disappointing nonetheless You can see the Lyons and other animals, however You have to prepare for a lot of dust. The drivers call each other where for example a Lyon is and then 30 to 40 Jeeps rally to this point, creating a traffic jam in the middle of nowhere and leaving everybody covered in dust. All the other parks where ok, but Serengeti was a big disappointment, here Tanzania markets its animals worse than in a zoo.
One must have seen Zanzibar and Tanzania to lose one owns illusions. Once in a life time is enough.

Very nice but crowded. The Maasai are oppressive and not at all authentic. They only want to sell trinkets.

Tanzania makes my heart sing! I would return in a heartbeat …and I will in 4 more years for my 80th. It is about the Serengeti, the remarkable opportunity to view animals in their own environment, up close , and in abundance. And yet, it is equally about the people of Tanzania, the warm welcome, the kindness visited upon us , the openness . Yes, I know they are paid to welcome tourists, but I have travelled a great deal and these people are special and unique. I miss them everyday.
The food is wonderful, the lodges and tented camps feel authentic …it is just perfection . My 9,11, and 13 year old grandchildren will never forget what they saw and learned here.
Savannah Explorers took great care of us , ensured we saw more than we dared dream of seeing… including the stunningly beautiful Cultural Heritage Centre in Arusha and the galleries outside Arusha. The art, the artistry, the beauty of this country was on display everywhere.
I miss all of this. It is one of my favourite countries in the world.
