Uganda lives up to its title of "The Pearl of Africa"

I used S2G Tours and Travels for a wonderful 8 day tour of Uganda. Included were: white rhino sanctuary, chimp tracking, Murchison Falls and Kidepo. I stayed in a nice mix of tented camps, lodges and hotels. Uganda has an enormous variety of human cultures, scenery and wildlife habitats, so it is "efficient" to pack in a lot in a short time span. Everyone's experience will be different, but I have spent significant time in 14 other African countries (as well as 2 previous visits to Uganda) and my personal experience is that the Ugandans that I have met are the friendliest people in Africa. S2G Tours handled all of my bookings and transport and it all worked near flawlessly. I stayed an additional day in Entebbe and I completely avoided Kampala (I think good choices). Ultimately, would I do it again myself or recommend this to family + friends: Yes!

We(end 50) had a wonderful 9 day privat safari with tubale safaris . The landscape varied between mountains , savanna and bushland. We were able to see all the big 5 , lot of monkeys , crocodiles, hippos ,giraffes , warthogs and antilopes ,zebras and a lot of nice birds. The top experience was the gorilla tracking at Bwindi NP. We will always remember that hour so close to a group of beautiful gorillas. The chimp tracking was amazing as well. On our trip we never felt unsafe or uncomfortable . Everyone who is looking for an unbelievable african experience , go to Uganda.
Our trip was well organized by Tubale Safaris. We would recommend this tour operator very much.

A quick visit with amazing experiences to friendly, beautiful Uganda

Only having 3 days to see as much as possible, I opted for 1 day of relaxing on the shore of Lake Victoria where I enjoyed the view, discovered a multitude of birds (I am a birder) and met very friendly people. The next day I puttered along the narrow channels of the Mabamba Swamps to try and find the elusive Shoebilled Stork. Sadly, it was not to be, but I saw so many other birds including a couple of lifers. This is a highly recommended outing. Yona from Shoebill Safaris then drove all the way to Budongo Forest in Murchison Nat. Park for me to go Chimpanzee tracking with a ranger. What a magic experience! After a long trek through the jungle we eventually found 28-30 chimps and got very close to one of them. Definitely an unforgettable experience but you must be fit. Before sunset we viewed the Murchison Falls and carried on to the Hornbill Lodge where I was treated like royalty. Very early the next morning I saw a pride of lions on a fresh cob kill, a leopard in the grass, many elephants,
Read more giraffes and buffalo as well as various antelopes and birds. By lunchtime I was on a cruise boat chugging along the Nile, stopping for lovely sightings of crocodiles, hippos, elephants and many birds. Late that evening due to the incredibly bad traffic conjestion I was back in Entebbe for my very early morning international flight.

Great tour filled with unforgetable moments. Doing the 3 day gorilla trekking means that you will spend a lot of time in a car getting to and back from Bwindi National Park (road conditions in Uganda are unpredictable), but both the gorilla trekking itself as well as the visit to Lake Bunyonyi more than make up for the travel time. Highly recommended!

Tubale Safaris, and Arthur in particular, were simply amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for Arthur. We felt welcome and safe the entire trip. The wildlife that we saw was beyond our wildest expectations - we saw the big 5, plus so much more wildlife. The scenery was green and beautiful, and the information about the things we were seeing made the experience even better. The accommodation we stayed in was well above what we expected and nothing was too much trouble in the lodges. The food on the entire trip was delicious, ranging from the lodge meals to local Ugandan food.
I would 100% recommend Uganda as a travel destination adn would suggest contacting Arthur at Tubale Safaris to plan the perfect trip for you.

I went on safari with my girlfriend in Uganda in December.
It was definitely the best way to explore the animals and the landscape there. We were able to see much more and much closer to the wildlife than we expected. The accommodation met western standards and was always fine.
We would love to go again!

Uganda is a must visit travel destination, I visited 5 National Parks, saw amazing animals, primates and enjoyed great cultural experiences. I have been to over 28 countries and Uganda is close to the top of list. I am so thankful to LuLu Safari and my amazing guide Sam and Elvis for a safe and enjoyable trip. 🙏🏽

Unbelievable experience!!! Don't be afraid to go to Uganda, with a few stipulations. Do NOT go anywhere near the Sudan border. Don't just go and be put in what we saw were labeled tourist vehicles. Some of these were mini vans without a pop up roof and had many people inside. Others had pop up roofs but usually had 6 people crammed inside with everyone trying to get their great safari shots. You definitely will want to go with a tour company that will have you in a 4X4 vehicle (ours was a Toyota Land Cruiser) with a tour guide. Not just a driver. A guide, like the one we had, knows the country, the people, the animals and the history. Karim, our guide, with Home To Africa Company was nothing short of excellent. Fellow guides communicate with each other letting others know what they had seen or didn't see. Otherwise, we may not have seen the elusive leopard. Be sure to ask how your tour company books people. Will you be with people you don't know? (red flag
Read more for us) Home To Africa does not mix groups. They know different people have different interests. You don't want to be unhappy with fellow travelers, especially those who may not be as prompt a traveler as you are.
