Everything ran as planned. Kenneth from beacon Safaris picked us up at the Airport and we headed to Masai Mara.
We made a stop to take some photos of an amazing landscape on our way.
First day, Just before reaching the hotel we spotted the a Rhino and the leopard !
Accommodation at ashnil Camp was nice, nothing to complain, good food with very kind people.
Kenneth was an amazing guide, passionate, professional and very experienced. We spotted the big five at our second day.
I do recommend a Safari at Kenya.

We were lucky with the weather, it was raining during night but during day it was amazing.
We saw all animals we expected to see, so we are really happy about that, because that's the point, and we have amazing driver, our tour guide, Cyrus

My sister and I decided on the 7-Day Masai Mara/Nakuru/Naivasha/Amboseli Safari/Tour and overall it was amazing. Masai Mara was so incredible...this park is a must see while in Kenya. I would spend 2 full days here as the amount of animals is so incredible. we went during the migration and that in itself is a site to see. Amboseli has it's own incredible features, such as the watering hole...what an experience to see all of the animals drinking and playing and bathing at the watering hole.

There were a couple of things that happened that we were not expecting but dealt with them. One thing that didn't sit well with us was part of our itinerary it clearly stated a boat ride in Lake Naivasha, and this didn't happen. I messaged Tom and he told me this was a computer error and if we wanted to do the boat ride the cost would be $30 USD. this was very disappointing as we now spent the afternoon at the hotel.

we should have done a bit more research in regards to how far the parks were from each other as we spent a lot of our time driving to each park.

the guides were good but Animal sticks out as the BEST! he is so passionate about his tours and it shows through his enthusiasm and stories he tells. he brought this trip, for me, to that level of amazing. he is a very special man and his love for his country shines through in his wonderfulness.

overall it really was a trip of a lifetime.

wonderful and memorable holiday in your beautiful country.

The safari tour was exceptional allowing us to see the true beauty of your country. The beach holiday was picture perfect and the setting idealistic. It would be amiss not to mention the people we met on our travels. Everyone was just so kind and considerate and allowed us to feel completely at ease and enjoy our surroundings.

A beautiful country with magnificent wildlife.

The wildlife was spectacular.
The quality of the accommodations was highly variable but all were clean.
The roads leading into masai marathon and samburu national parks were extremely bumpy and axle breaking. Very hard on the small van we were driving in.
My guide was a Masai and he was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the wild animals and where to find them.

Great Safari Experience
Overall rating

All in all my visit to Kenya was positive experience. Safari in Masai Mara was definitely a highlight of the trip. I did so called joined safari, which pretty much is a collection of different tour agencies packing their tourists into one car. Doing safari this way was the best decision of the trip - i met amazing people on the way and we had so much fun together. Highly recommended solution for solo travelers on a budget!
As far as a safari experience, Masai Mara provides it all. Wild life is incredible - from the big 5, through smaller animals and birds! Masai Mara is home to more than 500 species of birds according to official records.
I also had one extra day of safari to Lake Nakuru - not as spectacular as Masai Mara, but very pleasant.

This was my third trip to Kenya and it seems to get better every time! We went to four different parks/reserves (Samburu, Maasai Mara, Aberdares (moorlands), and Lake Nakuru.) All were very different. Samburu was the most intimate, with abundant game and fascinating landscape (I'd stay at the Samburu Intrepids again in a heartbeat!). Maasai Mara is so very spectacular (wildebeest migration season), with countless animals in every direction. Entim Camp was perfectly positioned and had great service. In the Aberdares, we stayed in the Kenya Wildlife Service 'lodge' -- a unique spot in the high moorlands (quiet, solitary, a world away). Our final stop was Lake Nakuru where we finally saw rhinos.

I went on a 16 day safari with Kenya Walking Survivors Safaris and was very happy with the overall experience. The wildlife was amazing and the food and transportation was really good. I ended up going to Ngorongoro crater in Tanzania on the first part of the trip and might have skipped this had I known how long it would take to get there and the hassle of the border crossings. By the time I arrived I think we only had 2.5 hours in the park before we had to leave. Aside from that though, the rest of the trip was great. Went to Amboseli, Tsavo East, Tsavo West, Samburu, Lake Naivasha, and Maasai Mara. I think Tsavo East and Maasai Mara were the highlights. Each park was unique and offered different types of habitat and wildlife. My guide Tom was great and made sure I was well taken care of. I would definitely book with them again in the future.
