One of the best trips we have ever done!
The Safari tour was one of the best trips we have ever done! Our tour guide, Eliud, made the trip. It was because of him that we saw pretty much every animal multiple times ( e.g. Lions, Chettahs, Leopards, Hyenas.. etc) and he brought a great energy. Joseph was also very easy to deal with and made organsing the trip seamless. We did a 5 day safari to Lake Naivasha (Sawela lodge), Lake Nakuru (The Cliff) and Masai Mara (Kichwa Tembo) which worked out well for us. We went to Crescent Island in Lake Naivasha which was incredible as it was a walking tour and so you get very close to the animals and you see lots of Hippos on the boat over. Lake Nkururu is cool because of the amazing landscape and getting to see the Rhinos. However, the best part was the Masai Mara and in particular staying at Kichwa Tembo. Hands down one of the best hotels we have stayed at. Seeing the animals in the Masai was just out of this world. I couldn't recommend this trip enough!!

Great tour with Peak Cruise Safaris, highly recommended!
We booked a 4-day tour with Peak Cruise Safaris and loved every part of it. Communication with the organization was easy and quick and they were very flexible in incorporating our last minute wishes. Amos was our tour guide and he went above and beyond to provide us with the best experience possible. We had a fun, diverse tour, with great accommodation.

Shikwaru and the guides Rock and Tebogo provided a fabulous tailormade safari in Botswana
Federica at Shikwaru was very easy easy to communicate with, prompt with replies to questions and she organised a fantastic trip for the two of us, tailormade to our needs, with a drop of at the Namibian border after 10 unforgettable nights in the bush, and as it was so exclusive it was very good value for money. The guide team of Rock and Tebogo were excellent, we were very well taken care off, with great food, camping equipment (we loved the bush shower and toilet, and very comfortable camp beds. We always felt very safe and informed. The range of wildlife that we saw was phenomenal, from the elephants to the mongoose to the termites! Our lead guides were extremely knowledgeable and skilled, as were the additional guides in Okavango, on the Chobe river trip and at Planet Baobab. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Shikwaru Adventures for a safari trip.

He is a dishonest man who only selectively paid for activities/ meals on our itinerary.
This man did not stick to our agreed upon itinerary. He would not provide us vouchers or confirmations for bookings because he had only paid for some of our activities and not others. He did not always provide the stated accommodations on our itinerary either, changing some of them after we paid. Even certain meals on the itinerary were not provided. If it was not for the help of the employees of our lodging and transportation companies that advocated for us to get payment and information out of Andrew, it could have been much worse. It was a vulnerable situation, having paid for the whole trip and being in another country without the security that everything was provided for. We were trying to stay one step ahead by calling our lodging ahead of time to find out if it was paid for and which excursions. It was hard to enjoy our trip with having so much anxiety and insecurity.

Reliable and well organized operator
Together with my boyfriend we've booked 10 days budget safari in Kenia and Tansania for September/October 2022. Our main contact from Drones Safaris side was Lizzy - she was always helpful and replied really fast whenever we had some questions.
Regarding safari itself:
On Kenya side our guide was Anthony and we were traveling with a safari van. Anthony is a really good guide, he knows National Parks well so we were able to see a lot of animals. He is also an awesome driver. We always felt safe with him + he was very flexible whenever we needed extra stop at the ATM or shop.
The border crossing could be more organized - we were kinda left alone after formalities and had to wait 3h for the shuttle bus to departure. We heard from other travelers that they had a similar experience, so maybe that's just how an Afrikan Bordecrossing looks like.
In Tansania we traveled with 4x4 Land cruiser and a different driver - William. In general we liked the Tansania part aswell, but we preferred Kenia. In Tansania was a smaller variety of animals (but it also depends on the season you are coming).
The accommodations in Kenya and Tansania were:
Miti Mingi Eco Camp, City Max Hotel, Kimana Camp Site, Ambassador Hotel, Simba Camp and Serengeti Camp. Hotels are always better as there is warm water guaranteed while in other locations that was not always the case. You should bear in mind, it's a budget safari so do not expect anything exclusive, but all the locations were fine.
In general: We would recommend anyone to book a safari with Drones Africa Safaris. We had an amazing time and felt taken care of from the arrival to departure (they even picked us up from the airport and dropped off after safari). It was an unforgettable adventure! Thank you Drones Africa Safaris for making it happen.

Perfectly organised and unforgettable experience
From start to finish everything has been amazing. Ines planned out an amazing trip for me to Nyerere, Ruaha and Mafia Island, was very accommodating to my specific wishes and was always quick to answer my questions. The trip itself was amazing, the lodges, the parks (and wildlife) and the relaxed atmosphere at Mafia really made this a standout trip in all of my Africa travels. Can highly recommend Indigo Safaris and Ines in particular.
