Distressing incident
What was supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime safari turned into a distressing incident involving our tour guide abandoning myself and my elderly mother at a toilet stop 3 hours into our trip and fleeing in the truck with all of our belongings (money, passports, baggage) leaving us with no resources (including my mothers medications).
The company has avoided my calls and emails and have not provided any compensation for what we endured and have given empty promises of a refund for the alternative vehicle for the past 6 months.
We are deeply disappointed in how this was handled by the company and therefore cannot recommend booking with them.

Kenya safari is everything and more
We had 6 days safari with my wife few weeks ago, Peter was always available for any issues we had during the safari and our guide Newton is well informed, kind and professional.

Miranda picked us up at arusha airport, the guesthouse, she organised was great. Our driver Öle knew a lot. He is a Maasai, so we learned many new facts about this tribe. Olduvai-gorge was great, the rest of the safari as well. Food was excellent. Roko is a smart and great guy, Maasai. Miranda is from NL. So you have both in one company: African vibes and a European spirit as well 😉

Guide was the best - Raymond.
Raymond the guide and Richard the cook made this Safari a great experience. The food was home cooked daily for each meal and was fantastic. Raymond is a really good driver with lots of experience. He made the Safari the best it could be. He knew when to go and where to go to see the big 5 and we saw them all. The staff was nice and very helpful when getting things set up and organizing rides to and from the airport and lodging. Thank You for the best experience.

Huruma is calm, respectful of nature, and deeply intuitive in the field. He doesn’t just drive around looking for animals — he reads the landscape. By observing tracks, bird movements, alarm calls, and subtle environmental signs, he anticipates where wildlife might appear. His instincts are remarkable.
He truly has eagle eyes — spotting animals in the distance without binoculars when most of us would see nothing. Thanks to him, we saw everything we had hoped to see, including several breathtaking predator hunting moments. Even more impressive, he always positioned the vehicle at the perfect angle for viewing and photography, without disturbing natural behavior.
Extraordinary Knowledge and Professionalism
His knowledge goes far beyond the Big Five. He recognizes nearly every bird species we encountered — which makes sense, as he even keeps a dedicated bird reference book in the vehicle. His passion for wildlife is genuine and inspiring.
We also traveled during rainy conditions, when roads became extremely muddy. We saw other vehicles getting stuck, but not once did we. Huruma’s driving judgment and control in difficult terrain were impressive and reassuring.
Every morning, despite mud and long drives, the vehicle was clean and ready. Hot lunches were prepared daily, and we felt consistently well cared for.
He is clearly respected among other guides and was always supportive and professional on the radio. His humility, experience, and kindness made a lasting impression on us.
