We have seen all the big 5 and lots of other game. Very good driver George and he was a good spotter. Accomodation is okay. Kind staff.
For 1 week you will have a good image of Kenia and their people and animals. Onyl remark, lots of driving and distances.

Memorable trip of a lifetime - for all the right reasons.
Exceeded expectations. Superb driver (Paul) who expertly managed many challenging tracks, and a great cook (Kata) who served up good food in some basic conditions. Both were attentive to the group’s needs and wishes. It was a fantastic safari experience (getting to Lake Turkana isn’t easy) with a perfect pace and variety of experiences and good value for money.
Missed out on the Turkana central island... next time!

Incredible Safari Experience
We booked a 3.5 day safari with Samora explorers and we are extremely happy with our choice. My fiancée and I were looking for a budget option for our first Safari together, and what we got for the price far exceeded our expectations. Everything you could want from a Safari was absolutely perfect, from day 1: the conversation about what the safari would include, the booking and payment process, the pickup from and transfer to the hotel, the accommodation, and, of course, the safari itself. Iddy always instantly responded to my many emails, and was even super flexible with the payment (I paid in multiple different currencies). He was very accommodating with our logistical needs (meeting us late at night at our hotel the evening before the safari for a briefing, making sure we got to the airport both on time and well fed, thanks to a great lunch box).
Our guide and driver Iddy, in just a few days, managed to show us the Big Five and countless other animals, as well as incredible landscapes. He created such a welcoming atmosphere. What I valued in particular was that we always felt a 100% safe, thanks to his driving, his immense knowledge about the wildlife, and the fact that he knows the area extremely well. An added bonus for us was that Iddy speaks German in addition to his perfect English.
There are many safari operators in Tanzania, and while we didn’t have much experience with safaris (I did one in Kenya before), what stood out to us is how kindly Iddy interacts with his staff and other people around him. So for anyone looking to support a local safari operator who treats his people fairly while offering a decent price, Samora Explorers is an excellent choice.

Thanks for another wonderful Tanzanian Experience
Firstly we wanted to have a Tanzanian owned and operated tour operator. RA Safaris did not let us down . They organised a fantastic itinerary of Lake Mantra, Ndutu, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire for my wife, my daughter and her husband and their 2 children aged 8 and 10.
We have been to the Northern Tanzanian game parks 3 times before, but this was the best trip of them all.
Our Guide/Driver (Sahele) was one of the best you could possibly find. He knew his fauna in particular his birds He was a very careful and competent driver, who managed to help other drivers out of difficulties when they got bogged in the mud. He knew how to drive in the very soft conditions. Nothing was a problem to him. He made it a fun trip for the grand children.
When we needed help for some medical and other issues, the response by the owner Zeph was terrific - speedy and effective.

Perfect safari experience
Our safari is finished and I have to say, everything was perfect! We did 4 days: taavo west, east and amboselli.
Rashid made our experience the best possible, he is a real professional!
We felt safe for every second with him. He is the perfect driver! While driving to tsavo east, few vehicles in front of us were stuck in the mudd, but Rashid managed to get through it with no problem at all!
He was friendly and professional, extremly polite and thoughtful, he knows so much of the animals, he knows all the roads, about nature and culture we have learned so much from him! He speaks perfect english!
He was simply the best from all drivers that we have seen and meet, and because of him we know we will be back to kenya!
He is the biggest professional we have ever met in our private and business life and we feel so lucky that he was our driver and guide on this safari.
We saw many animals including lions with cubs ans leopard with cubs. We also saw kilimanjaro from abmoseli.
Also, complimentaries to you for such great organisation and intinerary!

Spectacular mountain hiking and safari experience, amazing guides, would definitely recommend!!
My husband and I used Lion King Adventures for a 4-day Mt Meru hike and a 7d private mid-range safari. We were very impressed with everything right from our first contact with them by email up to our whole trip. They worked with us prior to booking to customize the trip we wanted.
Our mountain guide and porters were amazing and went above and beyond what we would reasonably expect. There is no way we would have made it up the mountain without them.
Our safari guide was amazing as well and his passion for his job was obvious. He would guide us for 8 hour game drives and show us everything we wanted to see, answer all our questions, and teach us a ton about all the animals. His ability to spot them and knowledge was unbelievable. It is obvious that Lion King instills customer service as their number 1 priority with all their guides, as he wouldn't let us lift a finger while on our safari. We had a minor issue with one of our accommodations (not Lion King's fault) and they handled it for us, going out of their way to make up for it even though it wasn't their fault.
Overall, we couldn't have been more impressed with the quality of service we received and would definitely recommend Lion King to anyone looking for a safari, Mt Meru, or Mt Kilimanjaro hike tour.
