Where nature can flourish

We did our Safari in Tanzania for four days in January 2026 and in those four days we learnt a lot of things about animals, about the ecosystem and also about people. We had a good guide who explained us how to recognize male or famale giraffes, how to find a iena just looking at the footprints and the rules to watch animals caring about their safety, just to not disturb them too much. We drove into the Nyerere National Park and it was very surprising how animals live and prosperate without humans. There were all kind of mammals, reptiles and birds and not all expected. There weren't just the typical big five, there were also insects and lizards. We saw so many giraffes, as many hippos, two crocodiles, two pied kingfishers, a lioness with her babies, funny baboons, a group of rare wild dogs who played such as common dogs and a beautiful group of ienas. We were so lucky because they are night predators and we saw them during the day when they were eating a dead hippo. In Tanzania nature
Read more prosperates well because humans are trying to protect it and it's important, all the world have to follow this example. When you start a Safari you don't know which animals are you going to see but this is the game! As our guide said: "nature is unpredictable"; you have to stay silent, you have to be patient and look around you because something amazing, in Tanzania, will appears!

Tanzania turned out to be very green and vibrant. The people are very kind and welcoming, with a very distinctive culture.

Tanzania is a great destination for a long trip, particularly dedicating many days to a safari in the Arusha region

An Unforgettable Safari, Mixed Feelings About the Islands

Our trip to Tanzania was truly amazing. The safari exceeded all our expectations — we saw an incredible number of animals, felt completely safe at all times, and it was an experience we will remember for the rest of our lives. It was absolutely perfect, and I would return for the safari without hesitation.
After the safari, we traveled to Zanzibar and Pemba. While the islands are naturally beautiful and we still had a lovely time, the experience was less relaxing than expected. We were constantly approached every couple of minutes by people trying to sell something or asking for money, which became quite overwhelming. Additionally, many non-touristic beaches were unfortunately full of trash. We noticed that locals often throw garbage along the roads and in nature, which was disappointing.
Overall, the safari part of the trip was flawless and something I would gladly repeat, but next time I would choose a different beach destination.

Without doubt - the go to destination for wildlife, birds and breathtaking scenery

We embarked on a 5 day/4 night tour of Northern Tanzania’s safari parks, starting in Arusha, then on to Tanganire, followed by the incomparable Ngonorona Crater and finally the stunning Serengeti. These experiences were all so varied, including a walking safari to waterfalls, taking in giraffe, water buffalo , warthogs and various birds; the Crater with unbelievable wildlife breadth in a lake filled plain and finally the breathtaking Serngeti with multiple Big 5 viewings and unadultered African countryside. The lodges and luxury camps are worthy of individual mention. Africa has never failed with its Safari offerings, but having experienced South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Kenya, I am in no doubt that Tanzania offers the overall best experience.

We did other safari in Africa years ago, of course everytime it’s different because natural things. This time we were in Tanzania as a first time here with very well organization and support of our guide Michael and Allan from Nkollo Tour. Beautiful landscape, all the big five shown is in safe moment and right time (be aware, it’s not simple to get it! We were in nature and wildlife is not waiting for you!). Lodge choosen was very nice, clean and well organized, Masai village is also something must see. Overall rating 5 stars! To do again. Hakuna Matata and see you next time Nkollo Team👏

We organised a holiday with Professional Safari Africa consisting of sea and safari . We stayed at Karatu Villas Lodge for safari. It was perfect, the lodge was cleaned and have evrithing you need, also have the swimming pool. the food was really good and varied menu. Our guide was jhonas, he was always on time and prepared. He took us in three different park showing many animals such as elephants, lions and zebras and always telling us the anecdotes.
The weather was good just one day a little bit of short rain, but nothing to worry about. In Zanzibar we had a relaxing days, and we had a fantastic trip in which we swam with dolphins and snorkelled on the coral reef.
